Rick's Custom Fencing-Decking

Ricks Custom Fencing & Decking worked so hard and designed the deck with a seniors mobility in mind. I am visually dazzled as I look back on the plans and how their workmen perfected the building of a deck.

Rick's Fencing and it's crew helped me design and installing my new fence. John & Brian took extra time to address my concerns and set my fence exactly how I wanted it.

People at Ricks lied many times and did poor work. The quality and workmanship were not so good. Deck flooring not flush or square with deck. Premium price for sloppy work. Fiance came home to see her new deck and said "wow, that looks like crap". So obviously, not so happy with Ricks.

One support rail is half inch higher than others making a ridge on the deck. (they came out and worked on this after threatening legal actions). This is a tripping hazard as well as looking terrible. Also have a railing post that is loose and wiggles. The deck is not level, boards are not square nor flush, screws sticking out. Just sloppy work. Unable to express how disappointed we are in dealing with Ricks. We feel cheated.

Contracted to build a six foot fence, They cut corners and built a fence between 5'2" and 6' tall. They did not even finish installing fence rails. Store manager refused to make right. Complaint through contractors board in progress.

Since we're fairly new to the area, I wasn't too familiar with other companies that provided this service. I went with them because they have been in business for a while and have a good repution (since I have seen quite a few hack jobs). The work they provided was done quickly & we are satisified with it. I sometimes wonder if we overpaid but that is water under the bridge now.
