I got to agree with earlier reviews on the service at Kent Kawasaki. I went twice and it was all I could do to get anyone there to speak to me even with the store empty. Its a neck and neck race for bad service with Hinshaw and Kent Kawasaki.

Purchased a bike here because it was the closest dealer to get what we wanted. Bike had problems from the day we picked it up. Owner said he would resolve all of the issues if we took possession...which he didn't take care of any of them and they are still unresolved (over six months). Owner is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in a business transaction. Now faced with a dangerous issue (cannot ride the bike) and he will not take responsibility and get the bike to the shop since it cannot be ridden..and is under warranty.

As far as ordering additional parts, several orders were placed and each time, the incorrect part was ordered. Owner did a some of the orders, he made the mistakes and blamed it on us.

I don't know how this dealership stays in business with such a rude and nasty owner.

I searched the West Coast for a good price on a KLR650 for a cross-country motorcycle trip and a company that would help me get on the road. Kent Kawasaki had the best price, and they offered to overnight the paperwork so that I could easily register the bike in Maryland before the trip. I flew out to Seattle, and the Kent Kawasaki team even picked me up from the airport. Everything was smooth. They were very helpful in setting up the bike for a cross-country trip to all the national parks. The service people were top-notch and the attention to detail second to none. They shipped back extra gear and parts that I couldn't take with me on the trip to my home in Maryland (I was a bit overpacked). When they didn't have something immediately available, they weren't shy to point me to another shop in the area--knowing I didn't have time to wait for an ordered item. They were up-front with all the costs, including parts and labor, and I felt they gave a more than fair deal. All in all, I was aware that I was working with a great, caring team, that was interested in my experience as a customer, the quality of the goods I purchased, and my safety on the road. The service and sales personnel were helpful, knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. The owner, Tony, is reserved, polite and kind. He's forthright and a no-nonsense kind of guy. I think another reviewer here may have found that rude, but I find it refreshing in contrast to the overly-nice slimy types you find in some other shops. All in all, hats off to Kent Kawasaki.

Pros: Great staff, great prices, no nonsense.

Cons: Smaller shop.

Seriously, I owned a Arctic Cat snowmobile and this was the only shop around. While I will say the mechanic was good, the owner is amazingly rood. Come-on, he owns a store that is Full of Fun, and yet he was very unpleasant to deal with. Frankly I would be interested in buying a Kawasaki (cause they sponsored the Tour de France) but no way I would spend any more money there. Sorry, this is my first bad review.

PROS: Close to Kent,
CONS: Owner needs to learn about customer appreciation.
