Taki's Mad Greek

OK after researching many Greek restaurants I decided to try this one. The reviews were on target. We started the Saganki and Hummus both were excellent but for the price there could have been a little more hummus and at least one more pita. OK now for the main meals. We ordered the Gyro, Avgolemono Soup, Chicken Souvlaki and Lamb Souvlaki. Each was excellent and there was more than enough food on the plate. The only draw back is that the they used dill a little to much, but this was the only con I came across. The service was good but we did go during the off peak time so it may or may not be the same during rush hour. They were very pleasant and check on our status with out overdoing it. I would recommend it to my friends and take any out of town guest there. I plan to go back on a Saturday night to see how it is with the live music.

Taki's has the best Greek food in Washington. Their dishes are cooked to perfection. Furthermore, they are reasonably priced and the owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. I would definitely recommend going here.
