fish at Pike Place Mkt

There are several different places to buy fish right in the vicinity of Pike Place Market in Seattle. I like different ones for certain kinds of fish, as the prices and availability can change from store to store. Recent finds from City Fish that I was happy with was the Octopus which was less than $4./lb, although it was frozen; and good fresh geoducks (although those aren't always available).

Tourists beware!

Tourists beware!!! I was a tourist in Seattle and the very "friendly" sales person talked me into a several hundred dollar order of wild salmon to be sent as a gift for my mom. The order never arrived and I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Luckily, my credit card company protected me and returned my money. I'm glad I didn't pay in cash!!!

The best in the market

There are plenty of fish shops in the market, but I think this one's the best. They're honest, friendly and not too busy tossing fish to give you good service.
