This place is not even a one star.
My family and I tried to eat there last night. The food was horrible. We order 2 traditional dishes expected in a Thai restaurant. We love Thai food and eat it regularly. The chicken was rancid the noodles were over cooked. No peanut, lemon grass and/or green onion garnish. The meal looked like slop that you would feed wild animals. May-be, because we were African American the owner felt we were wild animals.
My daughter tried to send her food back, because she had not touched it. The owner refused to accommodate her in anyway shape of form. She insisted that we pay for the in editable meals, we did and of course I did not leave a tip.
The owner refused to make our family something else unless we paid for that, as well. She in addition, had the nerve to tell us that we could not just come into her restaurant and sample the menu.
This Thai restaurant is located at Westwood shopping center so it is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. I love Phad Thai and so that is what I normally order. The last couple of times I have been there this dish has been very salty so that is why I just give it four stars.
This is the great little Thai restaurant in Westwood Center next to the Starbucks. Been there a dozen or so times in the last 2.5 years. Excellent food and great service. It is clearly a family owned/run restaurant - even closed once for about 2 weeks for vacations.
The Pad Thai and swimming rama are excellent dishes. In fact, for all but 2 visits it has been incredible, but I have to drop to 4 stars because 2 of the last 3 times we went the food was extra salty. Now I tend to really not care for salt and both times the salty dishes were chicken meat dishes, but just a couple weeks back I returned for a business meeting and it was incredibly good.
Hopefully the saltier dishes was a fluke because I would have considered it 5 star up until a couple months ago.
I had one of their soup dishes once too and it was great. Try a Thai iced tea to really finish off the meal.
There are so many good Asian restaurants in this part of town -- I think better choices than this. The decor, location, and most importantly quality of food is like a food court in a mall.
This place is terrific. I love the spring rolls and the crab appetizer is amazing! The ginger salmon, evil jungle noodle, and pad see iew are all really yummy. The service is very good and fast. The location isn't great, it feels kind of like a strip mall.
Pros: Food, Service
