When I need my cheese bread fix, this is the place to go. For less than $5, you can get an entire pizza box worth of cheese bread -- here it is the crusty french bread variety, smothered in butter with just a small hint of garlic and Chicago-style portions of fresh mozarella mixed with another white cheese or two. Decidedly heavenly. The gourmet pizza by the slice and NW micro-brew beer is good here, too, but you had me at the cheese bread, Belltown Pizza!

Pros: best cheese bread in the city; trivia night!

Cons: pizza has calories!!!

I walk by this place several times a week, and the incredible smell coming out ALWAYS makes your mouth water. Every time I've stopped and had pizza (by the slice or by the pie), the taste buds are as rewarded as your sense of smell was outside. It's a neighborhood treasure.

I always get great service when I stop. Pizzas are very good. Music can be too loud to the point that you are shouting at the wait staff and your friends.

The three stars are becuase it's exactly that...average. It's not bad, the service wasn't bad, nothing really was bad. But it wasn't knock my socks off amazing either. It's probably a great place to hang out with friends and have some decent pizza. A little expensive, but what isn't in downtown?

Belltown Pizza is one of our favorites spots in town for pizza. Whether it's an intimate date or with the whole family, it's a great place to go for delicious thin crust pizza!

The servers are very responsive. The parking is a little tricky since it's located in Belltown, but it's definitely worth it. We find it's best to get there early and get one of the booths. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends.

THE SERVICE
I called in an order for pick up early on a friday night (5:45). I ordered a small green salad, spagetti and meatballs and a medium pizza. I ordered the spagetti with marinara and meatballs after the person taking my order made it clear that they didn't know what bolegnaise was and then said "I think so" after I asked if they had a meat sause available for the spagetti. I was amazed when I was told that my order would be ready in 12-15 min. I told him I'd be there. I arrived 15 min later to pick up my order. It wasn't ready. I paid and tipped them in the hopes that they might make up for the slow start. I wound up waiting for 20 minutes for my order. My server said thanks for your patience as he handed me my order. He failed to give me any napkins, cheese, peppers, or utencils. Basically I tipped him for placing two boxes in the bag and handing it to me along with my pizza.

THE FOOD
The salad was good.
The Spagetti was bad. Marinara was like red water with a few chunks in it. The meatballs were gross.
The Pizza was better than a frozen pizza but not as good as anything else in the neigorborhood.

I won't go back except to drink at the bar.

Read the menu!

The place never closes before 2, I am a regular I know. The kitchen closes at midnight however the cooks stock up on pizzas before leaving. Slices are served until they run out usually this happens before 2am. After 12 it is mainly a bar and YES you can get a drink. Belltown pizza is one of the GREATEST things Seattle has to offer right now especially in Belltown, fantastic crew, food, and place! Not to mention the awesome music which ranges from indie rock to classic 80's all with a side of interaction from the rockin' out employees...

I've lived in Belltown for over three years, and all I can say is, the pizza is decent, but don't trust the "hours". The place practically closes at midnight, although they advertise it as open until 2 am. I've just been there around 1 am, with the bartender noting, "you know, we don't serve after midnight."

I think the kitchen just reheats Tombstone Pizzas in the back. The crust is doughy, and the sauce tastes like cheaped jarred sauce. As for the toppings, I think the cheese is a low-moisture, low-fat brand and everything else is just plain yuck. Wish the pizza was better, because everything else with the place is pretty nice.

The pizza is satisfying, I just do not find it very distinctive. Service seemed a bit slow and could have been friendlier.

Belltown pizza is pretty good. We went on a friday night...and we waited a looooong time to be seated. Guess we picked the wrong night to go because it was super-crowed. The pizza was good, so I guess the wait was worth it. Our server was awesome!

Hands down the best pizza in the Belltown neighborhood. I would venture to say it's even better than Zeek's Pizza but it is a little more expensive. I get takeout from there pretty often since I live down the street but eating there is always pleasant. The booths are a bit uncomfortable, not a cushion to be found, but after all, it is a pizzeria. Tuesday night diners can take advantage of the special: one large pizza with a bucket of beers for $20.

Decent thin-crust pizza (roasted veggie pizza esp good due to the pesto added - of course the meat pizzas are excellent). Can be smokey at times. But high-backed booths are best - block a lot of the noise. They get crowded Fri and Sat evenings, so be ready for a 10-20 min wait.

While downtown one evening, my friends and I ran across a restaurant called, BellTown Pizza. This downtown pizzeria is a family friendly spot, as well as a late night meeting place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. My first impression was that it was a great spot for a social scene without being a club/bar crowd. They served individual slices, as well as a wide variety of pizzas, as well as salads, desserts and drinks from their bar. The prices were resonable for the large single slices you received. The service was prompt and the waitress was responsive to what and when we needed something. The dcor in the evening was dark lighting, a very intimate setting. Due to the fact it is located in the heart of Bell Town, the parking is street parking, with lots located around the building. Overall, this is a great spot for a family dinner as well as a get together with friends. The late hours allows for other options of socializing downtown.

I love this pizza. It is tasty and yummy and requires no toppings other than cheese. Holds its own against some MYC pizza (ok, not the best but...) and is some of the best pizza I have had on the west coast. Add in a touch of Seattle and this makes one great pizza joint. My only request is PLEASE START serving slices to go!

I took my wife out for a nice romantic evening to a restraunt that was recommended by close friends. Music in the back ground gave the atmosphere a warm and cozy feeling. The service was fast and friendly on a busy night. All my wife has been talking about is how great the lasagna was and that we must go back.

this is a great place to go during the week. Some time on weekends it get a bit crowded for me. I think that its some of the best pizza you can get in this city. The staff is friendly and uber cool and in the summer the patio is a great option for hanging out. The bar is stellar as well, great drinks cheap.!
Super cool setting. I'll give it a 9.899.

Pros: pizza, staff

For Seattle the pizza is ok. The wonder bread flavored crust could use some improvement, as it is quite bland. Overall the texture, thickness, and toppings are above average for this city.

Belltown Pizza is more bar than pizzaria. The entire establishment is one large smoking section.

However for being a bar, their beer selection is pathetic. On tap they feature: Amstel Light, Pilsner Urquell, Mac and Jacks and Fat Tire. Mac and Jacks and Fat Tire are almost the same beer, too sweet and a bad pairing with pizza. Urquell is just plain foul and I won't comment on Amstel Light. The bottled selection is equally as poor.

What a great staff, from the owner to the cooks. All very outoging & nice, swift and good at what they do.
The food is fantastic and I highly recommend giving the "Belltown Chop" a try. (A great salad!)
This place is highly recommended to everyone.

My first trip to Belltown Pizza was over a year ago. I think I have been back almost every week since. Very good pizza, great salads, stiff drinks, fantastic bartenders/waitstaff. The reasonable prices alone will keep me coming back here weekly.

I originally found this great spot trying to get out of the rain for a few minuets.
What a find, had a slice and a drink. Now when I am in town and craving Pizza, this is the only place for me. Great drinks ( Ask for any of the bartenders specials), atmosphere, friendly service, Chop salad to die for, and the BEST PIZZA I have found to date.

The wait staff was awesome the pizza was great. The drinks were tasty but weak they could improve the strength but over all what a great all around place. I suggest sitting at a table and looking out a window versus sitting at the bar looking at nothing which a lot of young social lights enjoy doing and it takes the flavor away from the restaurant. This is a place you cant go wrong with the food or the wait staff if you like pizza and that sort of food.

Where to go when you want a romantic-casual setting? Think great pizza by candlelight, either by the slice or by the pie, add consistently good service, and you've got Belltown Pizza. BTW, you can get out of this place fairly cheaply just by ordering a couple of slices and a brew for about $10. Crust is flaky and good -- and consistently GREAT when you order an entire pie (recommended). When ordered by the slice, you risk it being a bit overcooked/a slight flavor of charcoal because of how they warm up the slices. A forgivable sin when the result is still flavorful and consistently fresh. Their specialty salad, a HUGE concoction of fresh greens, pepperoni, ham, cheese, olives, and other "pizza-like" toppings, is a meal, especially if combined with an order of the EXTREMELY garlic-y cheesy garlic bread. Bring a date or a friend with potential, and enjoy!

The Pizza is fantastic. The crust is chewy without being rubbery, the toppings are fresh. Even though they can sometimes be a bit sparse. But, the service was the worst. It took us about 20 minutes to even have someone come take our order. I went inside once and asked for help, I was sent back to my table and told that my server would be right with me. Then, it took an hour to get our appetizer and an hour and fifteen minutes for our pizza. The server was quite kind, just not fast. We ended up having to get it to go. Take my suggestion -- call ahead & get it to go!
