The place is to cold to enjoy your food.
Must turn off the heat at night.
Cold tables make the plates cold, which make the food cold.
Of course you are also cold.
Some of the help are dressed like they are working outside.

I have to say, coming from Vancouver, BC the Chinese restaurants suck down here in Seattle and on the Eastside. Jeem's was, at least, comparable to a mediocre Chinese restaurant in Vancouver. But I emphasis WAS. I think they must have changed hands because I did not recognize one staff person tonight, and the food & service was lousy. Being that it was Chinese New Year's Eve, you would expect the restaurant to be busy, but it wasn't. We got the set-menu for 10 people, and you would think that the dishes would somewhat resemble what is on the menu. They tried to pass-off a regular duck as peking duck; duck that you could find in a Chinese butcher shop. The food was cold and unpresentable. The tell-tale sign was when a dish came out with Pringle Chips, and another with raisins. The service was lousy. And I mean, lousy. When my friend expressed her concerns, the chef who claimed to be the owner yelled at her. It's one thing to have horrible food, but it's another thing when the staff or owner are not able to turn things around so that the customer can still leave on a positive note. Even a token 10% off would have been a nice gesture...but instead they charged us an extra $10 for measly buns that go with the (fake) peking duck.Jeem's used to be a great place. With this new management, I would be surprised if it lasted another month.Down downhill.

Factoring the price in with the quality and amount of food that you'll get, the dinner combinations offer a good family meal. My only complaint is that last time the scallop dish was very falsely advertised in my opinion, because the dish had very few pieces of scallop, most of which did not taste too fresh. All the other dishes were excellent, and the food came out very quickly. I have not had the chance to have lunch here yet, though.

Jeem's will always have a special place in my heart because I was having dinner there the night I went into labor with my son. Even if they don't have the special "labor induction" effect, I still like Jeem's because they have good Chinese food. Their dimsum selection is vast, so you could choose from many options. I also like going there because the atmosphere is nice and there's ample parking.

As far as dinner goes, I like going there too, but I find that sometimes they are short staffed in the kitchen so you have to wait a while for your food to come out.

PROS: Parking and selection of menu item
CONS: Sometimes service is slow.

I rated this restaurant very good because the dim sum is so good, with a huge selection, and several items for vegetarians. Make a reservation if you have a large group, as the wait to be seated at peak times (lunch, weekends) can be long.

The restaurant is quite large, and the dim sum carts come by frequently. If you need a fork, or water, or your bill, you will wait a long time. The staff isn't particularly helpful or friendly (it might help to speak Chinese) and they often forget to bring you what you asked for. If you can put up with these service issues, the dim sum is definitely worth it. It's the best I've found on the Eastside.

Lots of parking. Very close to SR 520.

PROS: great dim sum, good for vegetarians
CONS: poor service

Although there are other Chinese restaurants that serve dim sum on the Eastside, Jeem's offers a good variety of dishes everyday of the week. They also have a very reasonably priced, yet an excellent choice of dinner options. At $19.95, they offer two dishes, house soup and dessert. The service is efficient, although when they're busy, it can be hard to get your tea or ice water refilled. You might want to make reservations, since there are usually long lines here, especially on weekends.
