The first car I ever bought myself was a 95 Monte Carlo. I loved it. As. first time buyer, I had no credit to speak of. I happened to be recommended to Guide Autoplex by a friend, and stopped by. They worked out a deal with the bank to start building my credit. Unfortunately, I was reckless and promptly totaled the vehicle. I had purchased GAP Insurance, but I was irresponsible and didn't contact them. They did end up paying it off, but ruined my credit. I visited once more, and ended up choosing a BMW. Well, they worked for me once again, got some credit when there were no other options (my Credit Score was 0!), and I am now driving a luxury sedan. Wonderful people who are willing to go to bat for you... Priceless.

Howdy!!!

So i just read some other reviews about the guide autoplex, and now i have to say a few things too about that "somewhat called a dealership."

It is fair time, and leaving the town of lynden, i happen to see a nice car for sale at a certain larger, better car dealership, so i stopped in the next day to take a look at it, and it happened to be sold at a wholesale price... I seen what they were asking for it when i had looked at it the previous night. I had talked to a gentlemen about the car and he had notified me that they had just sold it to a little car dealership on the guide, that if i wanted to take a look at it then it should be there somewhere.

I found it. Guess what.... from the price of what i had seen it for before it was sold to the guide autoplex, the salesman at the guide autoplex didn't have a nice attitude, simply just an ego that wouldn't fit under a hat.... I introduced myself, and asked how much they were asking for the particular car, He told me what it was, and i about to start laughing at him. From the price i seen it before and the price "as-is" the markup was seven thousand dollars more.. I hate to break their bubble, but i kbb'd the car and seen what it was worth before, and now i understand why there are so many vehicles at the guide autoplex, and why they can't sell.

In conclusion, try and find the same car on a familiar free advertising website that we are all fond of, and really find out what kind of shape the vehicle is before you buy. In my personal opinion about the guide autoplex, they can have their car that is trimmed in copper and trying to sell it as gold.

My Friend had bought a truck from Guide Autoplex not even a month ago, about a week ago he was in the process of moving when his truck just shut off, it was about 10 o'clock at night and i got it back running, we called them and they sent a tow rig out, they nicly told us it was the dizzy we didn't think much of it so we got it, it ran half way home then died, so i checked around, did fuel pump, plugs, wires, caps, rotor, still nothing he brought it in again and i specifically told them it is the ECU, they gave him a call back and said it was the dizzy, hmmmmm how could the dizzy go out twice in a row. I am a mechanic at Rairdon. maybe im wrong but to me they should fix it for free it has not been a month even and i believe we have lemon law in Washington state. We will be taking it to my shop and i will look more into this vehicle and if they mis-diagnose this issue and they dont pay for repairs we will see them in court .I will keep everyone posted on what happens.

This was a few years ago and we went in during a green tag sale with sale prices on green tags in each vehicle window. We were looking for a used truck and found what we thought was a good deal. We took the truck overnight to a mechanic to have it checked out and went back to purchase at the price on the green tag...

They wouldn't take it and said it was miss marked, The tag was supposed to be in a different vehicle... If we had known, we wouldn't of taken the truck and spent the money to have it checked out...

They wouldn't reimburse us for our expenses to have it checked out. After many phone calls up the chain of managers and such, a couple weeks later we finally got reimbursed...

That $75 has bought some of the best type of advertising (money can ususally not buy)... word of mouth... only this time it is negative.

I never been back and if asked, tell people my story and hopefully they choose somewhere else to shop.
