Coogan Timothy - Timothy P Coogan Law Office

The office staff is friendly and helpful. After twelve years with no accidents or tickets, I racked up three tickets in about two months. So far he's gotten the first two tickets dismissed and I'm crossing my fingers that he gets me out of the third. They were very upfront about the cost and refund policy if they lose your case. I think it is well worth the $250 considering I haven't had to pay the $300+ for the two tickets and my insurance won't go up.

We gather a few tickets here and there...Mr Coogan is always willing to accept us as clients and present our case in front of the judge. The nice thing is we do not have to be there and miss time off of work. Excellent job Coogan Law Office

I faxed my speeding ticket to Mr. Coogan's office and they called to tell me details of their service and I paid $250 using a credit card. My court date was changed once, but I received good notice from the court and Mr. Coogan's office called me the night before with a reminder. Once at court, Mr. Coogan had eight clients there. I was the last of the eight to appear before the judge - all eight of us got of with our case being dismissed. For all eight it took a total of about 20 minutes. I don't know what tickets everyone had, mine was a 15+ speeding ticket.I would highly recommend Mr. Coogan's office for a speeding ticket - I don't know about other violations - but, for my ticket it was well worth the $250.

I have had many traffic tickets handled by Mr. Coogan or his associates and have gotten nearly all dismissed!! I have read the other reviews of unhappy clients, but it sounds to me like sour grapes. I don't expect to have ALL of my tickets dismissed just because I hire him, but I know that he will do whatever is needed to try to keep it off of my record.

I hired Timothy P. Coogan to remove an impending speeding ticket. He lost the case for me. So not ONLY am I out the $250 flat rate non refundable fee, I am out another $150 for my ticket. Now I have a speeding ticket on my CLEAN record and I am out $400 bucks. OUCH! I would certainly not call a traffic lawyer again NOR do I reccomend Mr. Coogan. If you have the opportunity to go to traffic school DO IT! Traffic school is a guarantee. Even if you have already been within the 18 month period of time; talk to a judge and plead with them to let you go again. I wish I had! Good luck to you!!!

I hired Coogan's office to fight a ticket for an accident. When I told the girl who answered the phone at his office there was a witness to the accident she said "no problem". I was also told that my money would be refunded if we lost the case. When the attorney showed up to court two hours late he suggested we get a deferral as there was a witness. I took his advice, in part because we had sat there waiting for him for two hours and the Judge was becoming very agitated. When I called to ask for a refund for my $250.00 I was told it was a "flat fee" and there would be no refund. When I explained that the girl answering the phone had told me differently I was told that she was new and probably didn't understand office procedures. They also told me later that if there was a witness there was no way I was going to win, yet they still took my money. If this would have been explained to me in the beginning I never would have hired them. Also, the girl I spoke with after the trial was extremely rude and began yelling at me over the phone when I asked to speak her superior. I have never experienced a more unprofessional office staff.

I was ticketed for driving in the fast lane in a truck that was technically oversized for the fastlane. I figured that it was worth fighting and not having to go to court by hiring Mr. Coogan. Paid the money, checked back after the court date, the ticket was dismissed. I don't know how he did it, but he did. Money well spent.

Hired the office to represent me on a basic speeding ticket, paid my $250 and was told they would contact me if I lost with the amount of the fine. Never heard anything, then I actually called the office to check on the status and was told I'd get a call back. That didnt happen and now I have a collection on my credit profile for $91 (an amount I can easily pay). My advice: hold them accountable and stay in touch!

He is great for speeding tickets. Paid a higher fee for Neg Driving ($400 vs. $250) and then got screwed out of my money.

He was late to court (again) and then couldn't help. Said we could appeal but the office never followed up. Called many times but they never call back. The office staff is unorganized and unhelpful. After 7 months, still cannot get my money back. Now I am being told it was a "flat fee" and I will not be getting it back. The woman at the office was nice until I asked for the money we never got back and then turned into a witch.

Just filed a complaint with the BBB, hopefully this will not continue to happen to people. Easy to pay the office but IMPOSSIBLE to get your money back if they can't help you. Don't fall for their spill when you hire him - they are more than happy to take your money but don't follow through on their money back "guarantee".

I have to say. When I needed representation. I was really bad off. I had know idea which way was up.
I was a drug addict!
Everyone was wrong and I was the only person that knew anything. Being between a hard spot and a hard spot, is a very uncomfortable feeling.
Mr. Coogan's staff knew how to handle my personal short comings.

I mean really. I was an ass.

They put up with me and still did an outstanding job of representing me.

Mr. Coogan has a team of professional individuals that know how to get the job done.

I did no jail time. I did do a lot of substance abuse treatment and a lot of 12 steps groups.

Six years later, Here, I am Happy Happy!

Changed my court date Didn't inform me of the new date, Lost the court case took my money. Then the office was very mean.Find someone else>.I'm still trying to get my money back but good luck getting money back from a lawyer

I was referred to Tim Coogan's office by an auto enthusiasist forum. His associate Mario was friendlly and helped me defend successfully for a 15+ speeding ticket. His price is extremely competitive (way cheaper than other traffic lawyers in the Greater Seattle area). I would highly recommend Tim's office for his legal service.
