I have been going to Husky's for years - mostly for the ice cream cones! It's old-fashioned and neighborly in there. I just wanted to add my comments and thank them for keeping it going for our enjoyment. My favorite is maple walnut.

Worth a visit just for the homemade ice cream. Yum! Orange-chocolate and coconut are fantastic flavors.

Great little place to pick up some tasty things to go or use them for catering your special event. Long time business in West Seattle. Also known for their ice cream.

I recently had their food at my work for a company lunch. It was amazing. Not your average sandwiches. The food is very well put together with great spices you won't find used at other take out deli's. Try them once and you will love them forever.

Husky Catering is one of the best Delis we have used. Their food is great and their lunch meat is tasty as well as their salads. The are a little pricey but very good. I would recommend someone to use them, if you are in the Seattle area. Great food.

Husky Deli is a great family shop. They have ice scream & good sandwiches & salads for those that are hungry for a little more then ice scream. They also have some great unique grocery items!!!! Check out their candy too - gourmet to everday. My son's school ordered their packaged lunches & they were a fantastic price!

Went here after hearing a ton about the ice cream they have here... Just ok I thought. Not really worth my long trek to West Seattle. But the place has a nice old timey ice cream parlor feeling to it and the shelves are stocked with an amazing selection of all sorts of foreign foods, like pasta sauce from Italy and all sorts of olive oils. The prices were great, too.

There was nothing like having my grandparents take me to Husky's for their Dollar Mint ice cream. Those added peppermint candy pieces made that flavor my favorite for 30 plus years. If the Dollar Mint flavor still exists it would be well worth any peppermint flavor fan to make the trek to Husky's. Now if I could only get that shipped down here in Long Beach,CA....thanks Husky Deli!!!

I grew up in west seattle in the '70s. Huskys was always the place to go and get ice cream! Even if we had to walk a mile or so to get it, it was the best. I still occasionally drive the 90 miles to get some of the licorice ice cream! YUM!!

There is no better place in West Seattle, or perhaps the entire Seattle Metro area, for ice cream. Custom-made, it's outstanding, and even the new Ben & Jerry's across the street is a pale #2 to Husky's ice cream.

But... don't be in a hurry when you come here for food (especially at lunch, when you want speed). Counter service, while friendly, is s-l-o-w. It's good, though, and if you can cool your heels for five minutes, you'll enjoy the sandwiches and soups.

Remember what your grandmother's homemade icecream? Well the guys at Husky Deli stole her recipe and are producing gallons of the stuff.

Personal faves: Husky Chip and the Rasberry ribbon. It's heaven in a homemade waffle cone (or cup depending on your tastes.)

Excellent people that are nice and usually happy to help you.

Nice assortment of "European" foodstuff and a real live candy counter make it a must stop for family from out of town.

I love the Schmidt chocolates that looklike halves of eggs. They are wonderful and make an excellent Christmas present for work associates. While the staff (usually a new person who struggles with packing 25 boxes of 4 eggs) prepares our order, I love to browse and buy unique items and old favorites. Very nice staff and a great place to visit.

hi. i am 11. (my's mom's screen name) this is the BEST ice cream ever! if you're in west seattle this is a must. Get a milkshake or look at the other deli items..
