Hotwire Online Coffeehouse

The coffee and atmosphere are great. And the food's not bad either. When I attended the wireless connection was fine. The pricing was a little stiff, but not outrageous. I did find that a rather large woman staff member was quite hostile to many of the customers; possibly driving business away. other than her it was a very inviting place.

their wireless is iffy, sometimes doesn't work.. some of the staff is of the "trendy, rude seattleite" variety although overall, they are professional. used to be open til midnight every day, but changed their hours recently.. being open so late was the main reason i ended my hate affair with starbucks and came here.. but now there is no real advantage. new management totally turned the place around, but not really in a good way.

there is a huge influx of obnoxious teenagers on certain nights, only encouraged by their open mic nights. their food seems to be ok, but far far from gourmet, and not worth the trendy pricing. if you don't like loud, insecure, eyelinered teenagers who swarm the place like fireants and unreliable wifi service, find another place..

with the right owner, this place could be the perfect "unknown but talked about high quality drink and food with beautiful art and good ambiance" cafe it seems destined to be...

hope it eventually makes it there..

They WAY overcharge for wireless internet access. That's not the way to sell more coffee, guys. booooooo boooooooooo booooooooo booooooooo boooooooo booooooooo

Hotwire is a fairly new business in Shoreline and a great addition to the many businesses on 15th. Great coffee. Great snacks. Net access. Friendly staff and fast service. Hip crowd.

PROS: Good service, good coffee
CONS: Parking
