I landed on German Autowerks in Shoreline after getting a jaw-dropping quote for repairs on my 2001 BMW 325i from a Bellevue based BMW specializing shop.

Yes i knew i had quite a few issues going on including a faulty steering system and a check engine right but least expected a USD 255 diagnostics tab and a total quote of 5000K.

I decided to get a second opinion and called a few shops including one on 145th Ave/ I5, Classic in Mulkiteo, JP in Everett and German Autowerks. The latter stood out from the rest with Michael giving me a very honest over the phone troubleshooting.

Turned in my vehicle at German Autowerks and USD 998.00 and 5hrs later, my car has a brand new Steering pump and hoses, tie rod end, door release spring, air intake boot and some other things i have no names for.

Bottomline, i enjoyed the professionalism, honesty and concern for my wallet that Michael showed me. So many of the items listed on the specialists laundry list were unnecesary.

Thanks Michael, I would definately come back to German Autowerks.

Man! Looking at an $1800 bill, took my car in for a second opinion after talking to a mechanic friend. The owner Michael was a straight shooter. Said I didn't need that work done for another year or more after tightening up a couple bolts!!
