They have taken care of my pets for 40 years and I now live 1 hr away. Worth the drive and the time. I have years of experience owning lg and sm animals and consider myself to be a critical consumer. I have occasionally had to go to another vet due to travel or emergencies and have not seen another sm animal practice as competent, well equiped or accomodating.

I started taking my pets to this hospital when they were small and in a different location over 14 years ago. Since then they have grown too large and have become all about profit. They care more about dollars than your pet and will continually suggest products and appointments that your pet really doesn't need.

Chambers Creek is one of the top hospitals, bar none! The entire staff obviously loves our pets, and we have found the doctors to be consistently excellent diagnosticians, as well as very kind and caring. They take the time to explain all of our treatment choices and answer all of our questions. They have cared for 19 of our dogs over the past 30 years and we have never had anything less than excellent care! We love CCVH!!

Our dog had a seizure several years back and we called our vet and they couldn't get her in. We then called Chambers and they said bring her in immediately. From that day forward - they became our vet and always always treated Maggie with the best care possible. They also were wonderful with us and understood when we may be anxious about test results, etc. I recommend Chambers to everyone!

This place is EXCELLENT! Chambers Creek was recommended to me by a specialist in Seattle. I have 4 dogs of my own, one of them with crazy special needs, so I have dealt with a few vets, to say the least. The 1st time i took my special guy there, he was having some problems. I had already spent a couple hundred dollars at another vet who failed to do key tests, but took xrays to look for a type of kidney stones that he is prone to, which, I learned later, don't even show up in xrays. When I called a few days later for a quick re-check, they told me his vet was not working that day and the vet there said she would have to start from scratch and do a full exam and take another xray!! And I was like, you gotta be kidding me! So I call Chambers Creek for an emergency appt. Dr. Neeson spent over 1.5 hours examining him and learning his history. She insisted on testing his eye pressure (he has glaucoma), and found that his eye pressure was extremely high, so she called his eye doctor and at his recommendation, added on another glaucoma drop. She requested a follow-up appointment the next day (Saturday) to test his pressures again. I didn't have to schedule an appointment - they just let me walk in with him. Dr. Neeson was not working, but the vet we saw was very nice, and been briefed on him and was expecting us. I didn't wait very long, and they tested his eye pressure and didn't charge me a dime! When I requested a copy of the records from that first visit, there were 10 pages of notes! So she spent 1.5 hours with him, and then in her own time, she sorted through all his records and put his history in chronological order and wrote it all out so that she could understand his problems and what he had been though. I have never met another general practice vet that was so conscientious! ...and we were just a walk-in for an emergency visit, not an established patient! And since then the care has consistently been extraordinary!

My 10 year old dog has always been healthy and never required vet care except for the annual check-up. But one morning I woke up to find a huge lump on his face! I was so scared that he had cancer, and called Chambers Creek in a panic. The receptionist calmed me down and booked me an appointment that morning.
Turns out it was a broken tooth that got infected and needed to be removed. I was worried about putting him under anesthesia, but he did great! The doctor was so kind and always took my (several) nervous phone calls to check up on him, and my boy was back to normal the next day.
The staff at Chambers Creek really eased my mind and treated both me and my dog like we were family. I'm so grateful for their hard work and kindness.

I moved to the area from out of state and wanted to find a great hospital for my cats and dogs fairly quickly. Of course, the day I moved into my new place my dog got very sick and I had no idea where to go. I searched online and saw good reviews for CCVH and decided to give it a try. I'll never go anywhere else!

The staff is friendly and professional, the hospital is large, inviting, and immaculate, and the doctors who cared for my dog were incredibly caring and knowledgeable.

I would've gladly paid top dollar for the care they gave her, but they were very reasonably priced and even provided me with an estimate so I knew what to expect! They really worked with us and made us feel comfortable. Since then I have brought my pets there for routine care and have always had good experiences there. If you want top quality and affordable care for your pets, go to Chambers Creek!

CCVC is literally the cleanest and best smelling veterinary clinic I've ever been to. They really make an effort to keep the clinic extremely clean. We've taken our pup there about 4 times including boarding her for a week. The staff is always very helpful and professional. We've seen 3 different veterinarians, and they have all been wonderful. I highly recommend CCVC.

I dont even know where to start with my experiences at CCVH... I started going in 2002 when I moved to WA. I have a male rottie who came to CCVH with ACL issues. Those issues progressed to the other ACL, neurological issues, digestive issues, paralysis on back legs to name a few. Along the way, ALL the staff, from the front with Kendra, Jan, even Darcy... plus everyone else, to the vet tech's... Paula, Melissa to name JUST 2 and to the vets... Dr Pete, Dr. Niessen and Dr. Tobiasan... with Dr Lilly doing acupuncture... not to mention the specialists we dealt with...Dr. Harrington, Dr. Eby, and Dr. Woodfield... EVERY single experience, no matter how sad or scary to me, was handled from the front line to the back with LOVE and respect. As Dante's issues progressed, we had to go out of town and board him. The tech's and staff made it possible to have him cared for after hours for a VERY small fee... great peace of mind while on vacation. My time with CCVH has covered to much to cover, but please believe me when I say that when we moved again in 2008... we all cried and hugged and I know I will be hard pressed to ever find another bond with an ENTIRE staff like I did at CCVH. Worth the cost (although competitive) and would recommend this facility to ANYONE looking for quality pet care. If by some unforeseen reason they CAN'T help you, they will refer to a specialist who can.

The Best of the Best! Thorough examinations at every turn, properly administered vaccinations and a pleasant and competent staff. Notifications of upcoming annual exams and inoculations are especially helpful. The vets are now treating other animals in our extended family, and their responses have also been very, very excellent. We recommend their use for what ails 'em, and hopefully can keep them from being ailed in the first place!

My dog has had a persistent problem with allergies since I got her three years ago. CCV has always done a quality job taking care of her. But, this past time, CCV tried to say I needed antibiotics for my dog that cost $96.00 for 21 pills! In these trying economic times, I can't afford that. I asked for options, they gave me three other options ranging from $48 - $64 dollars. I finally had to ask if there was a generic brand. After 10 minutes, they finally wrote a prescription for the medication I could take to Fred Meyers. I paid $10.50 for the same 21 pills.

The question, why are they trying to have you spend more money just to make sure your pet is medicated? Our regular doctor asks if we can take generic pills! CCV needs to be more sensitive towards their patient's families pocket books.

I've been taking various family pets to Chamber's Creek since about 1990, when they were in their older building on Bridgeport. While their facility has greatly improved, their high quality, compassionate and knowledgable staff was excellent to start with, and has remained just as good. Every once in a while I do price checks for the services I've used over the years (like dentists, carpet cleaners, etc.) and I've found that overall Chamber's Creek is very competitive cost-wise. I feel as though they give me the facts when they have them, and tell me when they don't, helping me to understand when a diagnosis may just have to be reached through a process of elimination (which can get expensive). Chamber's has accommodated me numerous times the same day I call for urgent appointments - always with a smile and compassionate tone, understanding how much our animal familiy members mean to us. I recommend them to anyone who asks for a good vet.

I have had good experiences with this Veterinarian. I think you just have to be cautious with any vet when they try to upsell you on extra procedures. We brought our dog in with a hurt paw and they did an x-ray which ultimately was excessive (the vet noticed some scraping on her skin indicating it was an exterior wound but suggested the x-ray anyway). But I don't really fault the vet, she definitely gave us a choice on the x-ray and she wasn't pushy although she did mention a few scary scenarios that made it hard to say no. The front desk staff has always been very helpful and flexible with appointments.

My experience with this office has been fair. The doctors are very knowledgable and friendly and genuinely care for your pets. My vet even noticed when my pup got a new collar and it was only his second visit! However I do have one major complaint. I feel like they try to nickel and dime you with every visit. They made me purchase dewormer for my dog w/o ever having done fecal tests or anything on him. My dog also has a minor uncompliated scratch in his eye that we are working on healing and they literally want me to come in every 3-4 days to have it rechecked. That is $60 every few days! Just to have them tell me to continue puting the ointment in it! Maybe their prices for surgeries are cheaper, but they sure get you on everyday things.

I would definitely recommend this veterinary hospital. The clinic is clean and modern. The staff have been extremely friendly and the veterinarians have been very willing to help our dog who has some pretty serious chronic health issues. They are flexible and willing to work with payment plans. Our veterinarian is super willing to explain everything to us and even recommend alternatives. I am very very happy with this veterinary hospital!

Ive been going to chambers creek veterinary hospital since 1991 and it used to be a great place to go. Now its all about the money.they used to be a mom and pop shop that cared not only about the animals but also about the people. we recently took are dog max there to get a major operation for a hernia and castration of the nuts.they sent him home with no pain medication and he was in major pain through out the night. .He slept standing up the entire night like a horse because he could not lay down. He was just a 6 pound pup and i felt like i let him down. my wife called the next morning to see about some pain medication and they returned are call later in the afternoon. she picked up the medication and it was an arthritis pain which to me seemed odd. she checked the shelf life and it had one month left not to mention they sold us a sample and states that this is not for resale which is highly unlawful. they charged us $22.00 for this medication and then realised after my wife called and complained that they screwed up. the office manager and her crew are completely incompetent and i will never again take my animals there nor should you.

I bring both of my dogs here and have always felt they were given excellent care. One of my dogs had surgery to correct a defect in his leg joint and now he's doing great! I have high confidenece in Dr. Pete and the assistants. They are very caring professionals.

The only slightly negative comment I have is that a few of the front desk staff have been less than pleasant.

I have gone to Chambers Creek Since I had my first Cats, 1976. They have treated many of my cats and dogs and have always been kind, gentle and caring. As of late, I have had a sick dog they have treated with loving care and have made better. Max LOVES to go to the vet, so we have him boarded there when on trips. I have also taken my cat there and had to have him put to sleep because of cancer. They treated Jack with complete respect, and gentleness. The experience was not pleasant, but the Vets, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Niessen were very compassionate and understanding. I will continue to go to them forever and will recommend them to all my relatives and friends. Thank you Drs. for all you have done for my babies!

PROS: Kind, gentle, professional animal loving people
CONS: none

This hospital is great. The staff is great, the care is excellent. You can get appointments fairly easy and the prices are not outrageous like alot of other nearby vets. We have not been there in case of an emergency as of yet and hope not too but I would definitely trust them if the need does arise for us.

I recently adopted a puppy from a humane society that needed medical care that was supposed to be taken care of before I picked her up. I ended up having to find a vet who would take care of my puppy's issues and not charge me more then I could afford. I called around to several veterinary hospitals and was quoted in excess of $600 with another $600+ surgery posibly needed at a later date. When contacting Dr. Pete at Chambers Creek he asked me questions and was willing to work with me to treat my dog for about a third of the other clinics. She is a happy and healthy 8 mo old puppy. His generosity was above what I expected. I would recommend this Veterinary Hopsital to anyone who is looking for a good place to talke thier pet.

PROS: Great hours, staff is friendly and cheerful.
CONS: Not in area that I live.

Chambers Creek Vet has a fairly new facility and it's more spacious than it's old office. I like that because it's easier to keep the animals seperated. The vets seem great and have good advice. Also, the front desk people are always very helpful.
