Art supplies & gifts

by Emily B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,444

This is a fun store. It has 3 sections - the frame shop in the back, art supplies on one side and gifts and cards on the other. It sound like an odd mix, but actually works quite well. This is the store I go to when I really can't figure out what to get for someone. The frame shop does custom and "u-frame it". They are very friendly. In gifts and art supplies, you are more on your own. There isn't usually anyone but the cashiers to help answer questions. There is a full selection of painting and print making supplies, plus a wide range of other tools and papers. The gift side always has the lastest cool stuff. Lots of soap/scent - and fun baby/kids stuff.

PROS: great inventory
CONS: moody cashiers

good for gifts

by S M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,824

This is a really good local store in the West Seattle area where I live. I like to come here to find greeting cards, gifts, and art supplies. They have a good selection of those kinds of things, and the people who work there are helpful if you are looking for something and ask for help.
