My experience with Mr. handyman left me hanging and very disapointed. After waiting a month to get the work done and being told how they could do it and even "specialized" in the work during phone calls and appointment was made. The worker showed up late. His apppearance was nice and the van looked in good shape I'll say that much. But after a quick review of what I needed done the worker left saying that he would have to "walk away" from this one. Now i am left hanging. The average "Joe" could do this work, I made it clear what I needed and then they just walked away. What kind of skill level can't do a simple job like this? i could do this myself withthe right tools and probably will after a visit to Home Depot. I will not be calling Mr. Walk Away again. Be carefull!!!!

I was contacted immediately, service appt was booked quickly, the handyman showed up on time and did a great job. I do think the service is a little expensive, would suggest that clients back up at least 2 hours of projects before hiring.

We would consider using Mr. Handyman again, and not just on drywall since they perform various services. The installer was willing to answer questions and provide instructions on follow up to my job which was very helpful. A painless drywall install.

Mr. Handyman arrived promptly at 8 AM. We went through the house with my list and I pointed out all the things I wanted done. He explained a few things here and there and pointed out a couple of things I hadn't thought of. Also explained why it should be done one way as opposed to another. I had planned to make the supplies run but then decided it was more cost effective for him to do it. Some of the things that impressed me, besides the overall quality of the work: I had a few places where the baseboard trim had fallen off and/or broken. The hardware store did not have the same trim, so he took some from a closet and used it! Planned the projects so there was not any down time. I.E. patched drywall and allowed to dry while doing other stuff.

Pros: Great work, efficient use of time and my budget

Cons: I was not able to schedule a same day appointment
