Places like this ruin the reputation of Indians, Indian Lifestyle and Indian food.

I visited Bellevue on a business trip from Texas. I was told that you get pretty good "chaat" there. I told the person that he was totally wrong.

Reason:
I ordered aloo tikki, which didnt taste anything close to aloo tikki. To top that there was "COCKROACH" in the food. I returned the plate to them and informed them about the "ROACH". The guy at the counter replied "This is not a COCKROACH". His reply was like, remove the ROACH and continue to eat. He had no decency to even apologize.

Its a very unhygienic place. I would never ever go that place.

If u didnt need all the indian vegetables, spices ans dals regularly u would never visit this place a second time. Extremely narrow isles where even carts provided by them wont turn around or have space for an extra person and a very filthy look characterise this place. the only good thing is that you get all indian vegetables and dals and i think partial monopoly is the reason for the neglect.

If you are looking for good eggless cakes, you can bank on this place for some very good cakes. However, I find it a bit expensive which they can definitely reduce. Hopefully in the coming times when we order again, we would get discounts...

My first experience was that i liked that store very much. It was like that i was in some indian store in india. We got every thing that we need. But the services are poor. You have to wait in the line sometimes. Sometimes if the stock is over you will not find few items. For fresh vegetables you need to go on tuesday or Thursday or saturday. Generally on thursday's it is croweded. The speciality of this compared to others is that you get indian items. I go atleast once a week. So i will go even in future. because it is the only good shop where you get indian items. But biggest problem is the parking. In mayuri you get all the items you need but the servises should be more. Sometimes you have to wait in a line. Also the items sometimes are not available. The prices are ok but cannot help.Sometimes it is reailly difficult to get a parking place. Their services are poor. They have only three counters, which is not sufficient when it is crowded. Regarding the stock it is not up to date. Sometimes you will get a few items that you need. Even it has crons but still i have to this place only. There are very few mayuri foods. But luckilly one is near by to our place. For others it might be far.
You most of the indian movies here. The prices are reasonable. You also get sweets and chats,pani puri's etc which i like the most. Comared to similar stores it is good.

Compared to most other Indian grocery stores, this is just about average. I visit Redmond often and have shopped in this store many times... more out of lack of choice than admiration. The frozen food collection varies and the selection of vegetables often looks stale (eg blackened bananas!). The overall layout is messy and not convenient at all if you don't know where the stuff is that you wanna buy. Overall not great but theres pretty much no other choice in the area.

They have a great selection of authentic Indian food products and videos. Prices are reasonable. Customer service needs a lot of improvement though (esp on the need for serving customers on a first come first served basis, being polite to customers)

This shop is run pretty effectively. Compared to all the other indian food stores i have seen this place has good service and is clean. They are little slow on the check out lane though.
