Not only does Hometown feed have everything you could possibly want to care for your pet, hobby farm, or small farm, they are the nicest people around. Truly caring people who are a much loved part of the community. Prices are fair and the selection is great.
I would recommend this store to everyone. Buy local, not corporate.

Hometown Feed has some of the friendliest employees of anywhere I've been! Even after hours if the back door is still open they invite you in! They have pet supplies for all your pets although tack is limited. They frequently carry ducklings, chicks and bunnies and have a good supply of things for smaller animals, even a few novelty items. Check out Hometown Feed for all your critters needs!

Whenever I go there I am asked what I need, or what I am looking for and they always tell me straight up if they have it or not, they don't beat around the bush like some places do. And they always carry the heavy feed out for me. They are very well mannered and polite and they exceed my expectations. They have good deals on everything there, and I recommend Hometown Feed to anyone with cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, or other such critters to at least check the place out.

Hometown Feed is a large warehouse type business that has everything for pets and livestock. I usually park in the back lot and come in the through the back way. That way we get to check out if they have any baby chicks, turkeys or ducks back there. The shelves are sometimes a little dusty but then again IT IS a country feed store right.
We only have dogs and go here to purchase vaccinations, worming medications when needed and treats. Not a lot of people know that you can buy vaccinations from stores like these and give these shots yourselves for a huge savings over going to the vet. They keep the vaccinations behind the counter in the fridge so you have to ask for them. They will give you the syringes too. If you have never done these before it is real easy and they will give you directions to help.
The other thing we have to pick up when we go is doggie treats. They have a lot of bins full of different raw hides, pig ears, bones, ect. They have a large variety and is much cheaper than buying treats from a pet store.
The staff has always been real friendly and knowledgeable. If you don't quite know what you need they will figure it out for you.
This is a must shop place if you own pets that need vaccinations. You can literally save hundreds of $$.

PROS: Best way to get vaccinations for pets. Helpful employees.
CONS: Dusty inside and can get cold when they have the rear doors open.
