Great Thai food. Very quick service. We order the scrumptuous Pad Thai for carry-out regularly, and get a great meal for two for around $10.

They do have limited hours, and are closed on Sunday. Best to call first to make sure they are open.

I am not sure what the other reviewers here are saying. I have been to Thailand 3 times, once on a culinary tour so I think I have a little credence and knowledge about Thai food.

This is NOT the best Thai food I have ever eaten, but is probably in the top 10 and the BEST in Spokane by far. Thai on 1st is highly authentic, nicely spiced, some of the best curries I have had in America. Their noodle dishes are made from fresh noodles, they carry at least 3 types of basil and my wife always orders the tofu and has never had a problem with it.

If you are used to highly spiced Thai food then you will find their food to be a little toned down, but that is Spokane standards ?? a 3 here is everyone else??s 2. Most spokanites think anything with a little bit of spice is HOT, so the restaurants accommodate this. Their pricing is also slightly lower then other Thai restaurants, so not only is the food better you get a better deal.

Service is great, parking can be a little tough but overall this is the Thai place to dine at in Spokane.

Don??t want to be negative, but ignore the other reviews ?? try this place and you will find out that I am right.

Cheers

PS Eaten at Thai on 1st about 9 times in 4 years always been consistent ?? another novel concept in Spokane.

Pros: Best Thai in Spokane - Hands Down

Cons: Hours - sometimes close early.

Decent Thai food, fair prices, nice ambiance, good service, very friendly people.
Some of the dishes are better than others. The basics, Pad Thai, etc., are quite tasty. I generally order tofu on Thai dishes and I cannot recommend this here. The tofu was really quite bad, maybe it was old...? I've eaten Thai food in Thailand, San Fran, LA, Seattle...so perhaps my expectations are abit high. You won't be raving about this dinner, but you won't be too disappointed either, especially when you considern the fact you are in Spokane, WA.

Pros: Nice people, convenient, decent Thai food. C'mon, its Spokane!

Cons: Cannot recommend the Tofu.

Great thai food at a reasonable price -- this is a great deal for lunch (portions usually large enough to take home for dinner too!)

Service is usually friendly and helpful.

Great food!

PROS: Great food and good service
CONS: parking downtown difficult at times

Mediocre food, unreliable posted opening hours. Don't plan on having dinner here, they closed early on me one night. It's difficult to build a business when the customer can't figure out whether they'll be open.
