I had always wanted to visit this doll museum. I went first thing in the morning and had the place to myself. Check your Entertainment Book to see if there is a coupon for admission if you are going with a friend. It is a relatively small museum, so you can easily view it in an hour's time. There are big displays of dolls of all varieties, including the Nancy Ann Storybook dolls that I was interested in, since my mother had given me hers. They have a good gift shop and also offer advice in maintaining and fixing your dolls. I would definitely go back.

If you love dolls this is a great place to spend the day. They have an amazing collection of dolls from early Bylo Babies to Barbie. The museum has a great flow to it as it was designed to allow the patron to enjoy the dolls to their best advantage. It is worth visting the Museum several times a year to see the special collections they display. This is a rare chance to see a world class collection of dolls in one place and something no doll enthusiast should miss!

This is absolutely the most expansive collection of dolls, clothing, furniture, accessories I have ever seen. Don't make the mistake that we almost made of not pulling out the drawers and looking at everything. I understand that they periodically change things so you can go back over and over again and see something new. I took my mom, who is a doll collector, she had a great time. Take lots of money, they have a little store attached to the museum with some lovely items.
PROS: They have benches to sit on and rest through out the entire museum.
CONS: There is so much to see, you never have enough time for everything.

This museum, which is in downtown Bellevue and just next to the library, is magnificent for people of all ages. The doll collection spans various countries and eras. Display is done in a tasteful way, and with adjacent videos giving more details on the background of the doll. The miniature candy store, toy store, houses and wedding ceremony in the 2nd floor are captivating to view. They also carry vintage toys downstairs.

This is a wonderful place to visit! Not necessarily for children, but youngsters aged 8 and up may enjoy it without boredom. The museum is large with many beautiful displays of dolls through the centuries. There are featured exhibits from time to time so it's important to check out what is showing at the time you visit. Gift shop is great as well.
