I only get facial waxing done here. The girl who has done it for me twice is very sweet and I like her. She is gentle and does a very, very good job. I feel the price is worth the wax, but I have not had any other services done here. I love the atmosphere. I have had waxing done at several salons and spas and this one has been the best so far. I have only been going since the new management / La Nur.

I was super disappointed with my facial at this salon. First off they need to post their sign of their new name so people can actually find that place. I called and was recommended the $130 signature facial and was promised it would be worth it. Let me tell you soooo not worth the money and I even got a discount with my Microsoft Prime Card. Not even worth the $110 I paid. First of all I was told it would be 75 minutes. I wasn't even in the salon for an hour from my intial greet when I walked in to paying the bill. 30 minute massage was supposed to be included? I do not think so. My skin doesn't even feel good. I feel taken advantage of and mad that I paid so much money for a facial that was not what I expected.

I'm always looking for good getaways, places to relax, good gifts for my friends, well let me tell you that this is the spot. Honestly, I love going to Kamiya. I think they're actually called La Nur now. They have great packages, and yes it is pricey! But it is totally worth it to feel good, relaxed, and to have a place that helps you get rid of the stress and craziness of day to day routines. Highly recommended!!!

I was in desperate need of a haircut and had a coupon for 20% off at Kamiya, which also happens to be near my house.
So, I thought I'd give it a try. Its in the strip mall area north of Crossroads, so I expected a typical strip mall salon.

I checked in for my appointment and was sent to wait in a waiting area that was so soothing and pleasant. It was very nicely decorated and had a fountain. There were magazines and a very interesting health drink -- Liquid Yoga? Very pleasant!

The woman who cut my hair was very nice, professional and did a great job. I really liked her and thought she did a great job, and my hair is really hard to cut - very thick and curly, but I wear it short, straight and like it to be smooth. I was very happy with the cut and will go back again!

UPDATE: 3/2006 I called to get an appointment and my stylist was gone. It sounded like the salon had changed owners all of a sudden and the whole staff had changed as well. The people were rude and I did not want to even try them out.

I was a frequent customer and enjoied my time there at first, but after about a six month time period I notice that their staff didn't stay very long which is important to me. I would make an appoinment with someone but when I would arrive I would be switched to someone I didn't request. On one occasion I had a facial and a few days later I had a question for the woman that worked with me and within one week she was gone. It happened one two many times for me. I found a new salon and I don't get switched around anymore.

I thought I would try it out and found that it was very unconsistant , the price I was told was much higher than I was quoted over the phone, when I made the appointment the woman I talked to was incredably rude and hard to understand with her accent . Also there was an unnecessary sales pressure and I found it to be extremely unsanitary as well. I don't find them to be as high end as the promote and did not enjoy my time at all and will nerver return and will never reccommend this low class spa to anyone.

I tried getting an appointment but couldn't manage one over the weekend or late-business hours. Obviously cannot go during regular business hours and hence had to forego this option. The cost is high and not worth the buck you spend.

After years of getting my hair cut at a chain I decided to give myself the spa treatment. I found this salon to be too upscale for my needs. I felt like I was paying for the atmosphere and I didn't appreciate enough to be spending the extra money. I went back to my regular stylist at my chain hair salon!

I used this spa twice. Once for a perm and then a highlighting. I found the staff cold, the prices high and the shampoo sinks some of the most uncomfortable I have ever been subjected too. I won't use it again.
