5 Stars: Water to Wine is the Best Wine Shop in Gig Harbor (by Sarah D.)

I love going to Water to Wine. It is such a relaxed atmosphere...no pressure wine shopping. Whatever I am looking for, they always have a wine to fit. With all the impersonal service I get today, its really refreshing to shop with Ty, Trish or Steve.

5 Stars: Water to Wine is my happy place! (by Sally F.)

One of my favorite ways to end the week is to swing by a Water to Wine tasting. I always learn something new, the adorable staff gets me ready for the weekend and I get to taste some of their delicious wine.

It can be overwhelming sometimes, when I'm trying to pick out a wine, but they've always come up with something I've enjoyed - and always within my price range. They couldn't be more helpful!

The staff at Water to Wine know their wines and know their customers. They are laid back and provide many opportunities to expand my familiarity with wines of different varieties and from different parts of the world.

2 Stars: different opinion (by J K.)

I have a quite different opinion to Water To Wine store in Gig Harbor. I have frequented many wine stores throughout the country. While a certain "air" from the owners is beautiful when done in context, I find Water to Wine full of arrogance.

I have purchased from this store well over ten times, each time having direct transactions with the same person. Additionally I purchase wines which average over the $50 mark. On all occasions the service was cold and in my opinion rude. One time a refusal of accepting my $100 bill, saying that there was no change, as I viewed plenty of change in the register. Another time he studied my ID while paying with a charge as I was some sort of criminal. This was on my tenth visit to the shop.

Even though this is really the only place in town, it will be a cold, cold day before I visit this shop again.

5 Stars: Awesome wine selection (by Rachel B.)

It's an experience to step into Water to Wine, a quaint wine shop near the Gig Harbor waterfront. The proprietor is very knowledgeable about wines in general, and really makes an effort to provide that extra touch of service. Need a wine that will pair well with a particular dish? Just ask. Need a recommendation for something unusual to serve guests? Just ask. And the best part of all -- Water to Wine usually has a nice selection that won't break your budget.

PROS: Good inventory at good prices
CONS:
