I was shocked to see the negative review and complaint about the writer's elderly relative being overcharged. My own experience with Rudy's was outstanding. My outdoor faucet would not shut off. It was late at night and I called the fire department to ask how I could shut it off. They came out and also could not turn it off, but were able to stop the water flow by using a pistol-grip hose nozzle. They told me I would need a plumber because this was a broken valve inside a wall. The next morning I called several other plumbers. None could come until late in the day. When I called Rudy's they dispatched a plumber quickly. He arrived at my home in less than an hour. He confirmed that this was a broken valve in the wall and that he would need to cut into the wallboard to repair it. He replaced the valve and completed the entire job in a very short period of time. After I paid him what I considered to be a more than reasonable fee, he asked me if I would like him to put the wall board back in place. Since I had guests arriving shortly, I told him that would be appreciated. He put the cut piece of wall board back in place as a temporary fix, and then moved a piece of furniture so that it would not be visible. Today we had another plumbing situation arise. When my husband called Rudy's they did some great fact finding and determined that it was not something they deal with. They could easily have sent a plumber out and charged us to tell us we needed to call someone else, but they were able to determine this over the phone at no charge. We truly appreciated their honest approach.

I was surprised to see negative feedback on your site. I lived in the Seattle area for a very long time. I called on Rudy's for all my plumbing needs. They're courteous, dependable and honest. I would recommend Rudy's to anyone looking for plumbing assistance, whether it be a large job or a small one... Expect to get high quality work at a fair market price!

PROS: Honest high quality work!
CONS: They are busy, so you need to call for an appointment.

They do a decent job, but the prices are sky high. We had a highly unpleasant experience with them when they ripped off an elderly relative remodeling a residential bathroom. We will not use them again.

Our kitchen drain line was broken and we also needed the gas pipe moved so we could put our dry wall back up. They schudeled quickly. We were happy with the work and we felt they were fair in price.
I would use them again and we would not hesitate to recommend Rudy's to anyone in need of a plumber.

Leaks are tough to fix, but without additional cost, they kept coming back until source of the problem was discovered and fixed.

I had a leak in a pipe that was below ground. John of Rudy's plumbing managed to find the leak, dig down to it, and repair the pipe quickly and at a price I considered more than fair.

Anthony came right on time, checked out the problem, and fixed it quickly. Because it was a minimal job, he just charged us the basic show up fee. Left everything clean. We were satisfied, and so far the fix seems to be holding.

The folks at Rudy's called me almost immediately after they got matched to my project on ServiceMagic. I was able to easily schedule an appointment with them, and they were receptive over the phone to my concerns about the scope of the job vs. cost.

The plumber they sent out was on time, polite and personable. He fixed the problem easily and gave us pointers on some other problems we've been having. Rudy's will be the first people we call when we're ready for our next project!!

I needed to get a vent pipe replaced in a project bathroom I was working on and Rudy's Plumbing came out and gave an estimate without charging me a fee for the visit. Had the best person and price. When the plumber came out that next Monday, he took less time to do the work than expected and saved my client even more. He also worked on another piece of the pipe that was found to be faulty. Will definitely use again and will also refer to all of my clients when a plumber is required.
