I was told the whole story by my stylist, whom I adore! She does such a great job on my hair. I've used her for 15 years or more even before the Wedgwood studio. I met her at Monir's and followed her at various other salons and she's been back for quite some time.

She told me the whole story about the previous owners. They were rude, all the employees were totally freaked out by that and felt like quitting, but they hung in there and it paid off. She mentioned how the old owners would treat the customers and I can't believe how rude and selfish they were, not to mention they didn't know a thing about hair or business or anything, for that matter. At that time, I was only dealing with my gal and didn't notice how they acted - I was lucky! The new owners are so professional, polite and treat the customer with the respect they deserve.

I would recommend the Wedgewood Studio to everyone who wants a quality haircut, new style, color/foil, etc. etc. They have competitive prices but as the old saying goes, 'You get what you pay for!'. I'm sure everyone there is great; maybe not as great as my stylist but I'm very prejudiced I guess .... she is the BEST! :-) What comes first is that they care about the happiness of their clients above anything else. They will fix anything that may have been the wrong choice of the customer -- as best they can.

this last review was posted before the salon was taken over by a new owner in may of 2009. try them again. thngs are totally different.. the customers are now treated the way you want to be treated. they are on time, friendly and extremely competent

If you remember when Jerry had trouble at the car rental counter...

They know how to MAKE an appointment, but not how to KEEP an appointment. My regular barber was on vacation so I thought I would give them a try. I made an appointment for 5:30, showed up at 5:25 and was told to sit in the waiting area. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and after 30 minutes I left. Not a word was said to me the whole time I was waiting. Most places will at least warn you they are running late, apologize, or something. The staff is not very professional in the customer service area unless you are a "regular". They were very chatty with the other clients they already knew and the peeps outside.

This place has become too "yuppified" and pretentious. It was much nicer and more friendly years ago as a Fantastic Sams. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Needless to say, I will not be back. If you are not a regular there already do not expect a lot.

I've followed John Paul all around the Northwest. I'm so happy he has his own salon. The salon is very nice and classey. Good location and parking. You have got to give them a try. I love my hair during the grow out stage just as much as I do when he first cuts it!! That's a good sign of a great cut. Worth every penny!!!
