awesome place to study  5 Star Rating - World class

This library is a wonderful place to go for a college student to get some good studying time in. It is a nice change from the campus library or other student populated libraries. This is a more quiet crowd and not nearly as big. They have many quiet reading areas set up, many well lit desk work stations, and a really good varity of books. Parking is great here, and they have pretty good hours, even on the weekends.

SPL rocks!  4 Star Rating - Very good

I live in Queen Anne and go to the local libraries at least once a week. While the library itself is small, a cool option to explore is looking at the Seattle Public libraries website online, placing holds on books from the site, and just going into the library at which you requested they are sent once they arrive to pick them up! Its such an easy deal that for those of you who dont have time to search the shelves for the books you want (all of us, right?), I recommend it.

4 Star Rating - Very good

After being closed for too long, the Greenwood Branch of the SPL just reopened on Saturday January 29, much to the satisfaction of the locals. The new building is both beautiful and functional, providing over 30 public computers, 60,000 books, and a great kids section, as well as access to any book in the SPL system. An excellent retreat or weekday excursion for anyone, this branch is a great alternative to the Broadview branch.
