The hotel has old world charm and attentive staff. The rooms are expensive and small for my taste, but elegant. The restaurant has delicious food served by a well trained staff. Nothing overly fancy, just great food served well in an elegant setting.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. I really love this place, I was lucky enough to stay in a suite. Regardless of the cost of the room it is worth staying again and again

This is a reasonably priced restaurant with an exquisite cuisine. The porterhouse steak was excellent. The service is what you would expect from a five star hotel. This is one of Seattle's best restaurants in my opinion.

I would call Four Seasons Olympic Hotel "world class". A grand older hotel located in downtown Seattle has a long history of being the place to stay in Seattle.

Boring, old stodgy, impersonal service and extremely expensive...For the anticipation of a Fairmont hotel, 5 stars and all, the room was nothing special and the service even less so, just because they could read my name when it came up on

If you're looking for a beautiful and luxurious 5-star hotel in the Seattle area, look no further than the Fairmont. Not only is it full of rich local history, but it is truely beautiful and peaceful. The tearoom is amazing, the service is divine, and the shops located in the hotel are worldclass. If you can afford this grand hotel, it's well worth the visit.

PROS: beautiful, peaceful, great food, excellent service
CONS: expensive

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is...amazing. The rates are very expensive--my room cost $350 per night and I didn't even get the most expensive one. The staff was amazing and nice and courteous and helpful. The slippers were so freaking comfortable. I feel like I couldn't ask for more from a hotel.

This is where my parents stay when they come to visit. Great location in downtown Seattle - especially for my mom, who loves all the downtown shopping! The rooms are quite spacious, and they've got a great gym and indoor pool on the second floor. Both Shuckers and the Georgian Room serve great food, although my last continental breakfast in the Georgian Room, was a bit below par, with tasteless watermelon slices and a few moldy blackberries.

The Four Seasons Hotel is just not a great
hotel to sleep in, it has a very fine dining
room with excellent specials especially
the salmon. For a treat, its a great weekend
getaway over the holidays.

Ok so we all know the Four Seasons is probably the
most expensive hotel in Seattle. But most don't
know that its a great place to just walk around,
have coffee and dessert after the theater.
You don't have to sleep there to enjoy the decor.

My parents stay here every time they visit me from NY (they have an amazing IBM corporate rate here for some reason). The place is old school luxury and opulence. Think of the movie "Titanic". Yeah, sort of like that.

Rooms are not huge, but are well appointed. Services is super amazing. Food is great, with many choices (I've had breakfast in the main dining room, as well as lunch in the oyster bar - both were FABULOUS).

Of course, you will pay $$$ to get this, but if money is no object, and you like old, classy places, this is the place to go. Great for Mom and Dad (or Granma and Granpa).

This wonderful classic, is the only hotel that I'll ever stay in Seattle, there standards are always the best. Even after Fairmont took it's place, I was very surpised of the quaility & services had no change, in fact there are better then

Quite simply the best place for oysters on the half shell in Seattle. Huge selection, always fresh and delicious. They serve prepared (Rockefeller, etc.) oysters as well. The ambiance is kind of 1950s dark wood hotel, and the servers don't
