Seattle Metaphysical Library

This little gem is in the basement of a building in downtown Ballard, next door to the Great Harvest Bread Company. The only sign on the outside of the building is a sandwich board sign which is set out when they are open. This non-profit lending library has over 10,000 books on alternative, occult, and secret-of-life knowledge, including UFOs, ancient religions, historical conspiracies, energy healing, Buddhist studies, Manly Hall lectures, a full set of Parabola magazines, many 911 DVDs, massage therapy, etc.

Since it is an all-volunteer organization, the hours are often sporadic, but it does have a website, which hopefully will be current with the Open Hours.

I've had some fascinating conversations with others at the library. One of the reasons I like to go there is to meet other people who have similar interests.
