The showroom is nice but it is designed so that every little item is an upgrade and if you don't upgrade everything is so cheapy that you will need to replace soon.
We purchased a Quadrant home in 2004 and actually, we have been embarrassed to live here. Our house was built so far back on the lot that they barely had room to put the patio pad in the back before the 6 foot drop off - a situtation they refused to fix becuase it would have cost them money. When inspected, it was discovered that they left out major support beams and within the first 2 years we had 3 major water leaks. The drywall was so soft that it was almost impossible to hang drapery hardware and even pictures. The neighborhood is so dumpy looking, partly because no one cares about the CC&Rs and partly because Quadrant didn't prepare the common areas properly - again not wanting to spend more money. Before you consider buying a Quadrant come look at Shaunessey on 35th and 156th just east of Mill Creek. Drive all around including to the back end of the neighborhood. It is a ghetto and these homes will not last the test of time. Ours is falling apart. You will save so much money if you buy a resale from a respected builder and someone who puts in angles, nooks, skylights and entryways. Just don't fall for their sales pitch - the salespeople onsite will tell you anything to make a sell. We deeply regret having bought a Quadrant home. Resale value is less than any other neighborhood around us.
One more thing - our washer, dishwasher and now the oven have all broken and replaced. Not sure where they get their applicances - we have never had this problem anywhere else.

The showroom is great, but Quadrant Homes are horrible. We have owned on for four years now and it is falling apart. We take care of our homes, but this home is a lost cause. Super cheap materials and no quality control with subcontractors. Please do not buy a home from Quadrant Homes. In the end, you get not really more house for a lot more money.

The showroom is a very nice place, they offer snacks and drinks while you make your selections. The people there to help are also very nice and friendly. Some of the prices on upgrades seemed high, but then other seemed very fair. Just be cautious with you selections.

I enjoyed the show room some of the things your pretty well forced to upgrade like the trim and the carpet but im a contractor and i know some of the prices are very resonable. I ve dealt with other companies of a similar fashion and they really rip people on the upgrades i think quadrant show room is a lot of fun and reasonable

My wife and I really enjoyed making our selections in Quadrant's showroom. On the first visit, it was a little overwhelming. After that, it was great. They have a nice selection of choices in the different areas. The average amount spent in the showroom is $20,000, which is about what we spent. The reason for this is that what is included at no extra cost is usually not very nice. We upgraded many, many things but tried to avoid the big ticket items. Some things like Window Screens seem silly to not have standard. Some of the upgrade costs for higher end things were priced at many times over market value, so be careful. Overall, a great selection of stuff and a nice experience for us.

We bought a quadrant home and came here to make our selections. There were a lot to choose from. It was hard to decide. I thought the upgrades were kind of expensive and the standard stuff that came with the house wasn't a lot - like the kitchen island was an upgrade. I think they should have more standard features. That being said, the home showroom is nice and fun to visit when building your home.
