First and last time there, most definitely not recommending! The sorry ass manager/wife needs to tk some business/mngmnt/hospitality classes in AMERICA and recognize that calling someone a b*tch in spanish bcuz u made a customers food wrong, isnt gonna get you anywhere but on the floor or in a court. Repeatedly talkin s#it and arguing over $3 chips was even worse. She was like thee epic fail of bammer customer service.. I mean the broad didnt even realize that her teen daughter had to go out her way to hold her back because she wanted to fight soo bad. Seriously! She was pushing and shoving her daughter AND husband out the way to charge at my sister. They were both were hot about it. But come one.. CHARGING AT A CUSTOMER? You might do that from where ever you came from but in AMERICA, we dont get down like that..
Her lil 4yr old was standing there along with my own child watching the whole thing and her poor husband was trying so hard to understand what the mix up was... I was trying to be civil and explain the situation- which was: I ordered shredded beef and cheese chimichangas.and my sister ordered shredded beef and cheese taquitos... plain n simple... after cutting into first chimi, I already see a lighter shade of meat. I actually thought it was chicken. She came over and says "No its shredded BEEF AND PORK. We dont have shred beef by itself". o_O isnt that something you would tell me before you go and proceed with making my food? Esp since I never mentioned pork to you?
We refused to eat it (we dont eat pork)and she gets an attitude about the menu stating that its mixed BUT even more angry that I corrected the fact that it did NOT. I pointed out that when you read "shredded beef & pork" that can be taken as two different things. Not necessarily mixed. Use the word mix or combo. And for both orders to clearly request shredded beef and chs, its her responsibility, as an "owner/manager" to clarify that the customers req is met, in other words; say that its not only beef, its both... wtf is soo hard about that?? It makes perfect sense. BUT STILL NOT SOMETHING TO PHYSICALLY FIGHT OVER. WOW!
Her poor husband totally understood where we were coming from and knew what we were saying was right. All she kept saying was "get the f*ck out b*tch" to us, mainly @ my angry sister and whatever she felt in spanish lol but its like seriously.. If you lay a finger on someone in a situation like that, you minus well call the cops and the Q13 while your at it. Your asking for a lawsuit and/or to get your ass wooped by two hungry palauans. And demanding for us to ATLEAST PAY FOR THE CHIPS SINCE WERE NOT GONNA PAY FOR THE DINNER is even more wrong thing to say. One, I didnt ask for chips n salsa when I first walked in, you brought it to us, like any other mexican restaurant would. Two, I clearly stated that I have no prob paying for the second basket of chips I ASKED FOR, we enjoyed and ate it all,it was the right thing to do. She didnt even realize that we didnt even gain anything from it, we were still starving. But for you to be all rowdy and literally lose all professionalism when your in the wrong at 8pm to the only customers you had within the last hr or two not only shows how poor your education was in the business and customer service aspect, but how much more quantity$$ means than quality in yr restaurant. Oh and I went from being b*tch to h0e by the time I reached the door and got the finger too. I pray for your business and that jaw of yours bcuz BOY! The mouth on her is just asking for a quick right hook. That was my first wierdest bad experience ever! In any restaurant. I live 2mins away. But I would travel to Seattle to eat before making them last resort.. Taq El Riconcito in front of fred meyers is waaaay better in price, quality and customer service isnt the average. They treat you like friendly neighbors. Only came HERE for them being closed for the night. Never again.

This mexican restaurant is not the best I've ever been to. The atmosphere of the restaurant is alright, but the food was only kind of warm when we received it. We had to ask them to take it back to warm it up.

The food is not too spicy - the way I like it, and service is pretty good. This is a small quaint establishment in Tacoma. They serve you quickly, and the atmosphere is pretty quiet.

It must be an eternal truth, the farther one gets from a country the less authentic the food is. The American-Mexican food served here isn't spicy or original.
