Horrible customer service. When I showed dissatisfaction with the way I was being handled the front desk clerk said: "We would be more than happy to transfer your records to another veterinary," with a snide tone. North Shore has horrible communication and follow through. They are for profit and there lack of customer service training with their front line employees shows. I have taken my business elsewhere as suggested by them because clearly my 6 years of business and on time payments meant nothing to them.

My pets have been treated by the doctors at Northshore Vet for some time and I have always been very pleased with the level of care the doctors and staff provide. Recently, one of my dogs was diagnosed with a very rare condition that is quite difficult to "pin down". She was showing a myriad of symptoms that would come and go. At times I thought I might be imagining them. The staff and doctors were so kind and gentle throughout this whole process. They listened patiently and intently treated my dog (and the rest of our family) with such compassion. You can tell every person there is in the proper spot by the love they lavish on pets.
This particular disease, as I mentioned is difficult to diagnose and is rare. I have read that it can take up to a year to diaganose. Northshore had it figured out in less than a month. Some of the tests can take a few weeks for results.
The doctors (I think there are 5 vets total) worked together bouncing ideas off one another and getting information from each other to choose the proper tests and treatments. It didn't matter which doc we saw, they were able to look up records (and photos!) on their computer in the exam room. The xrays there are digital so they could bring those up in the room as well. When my dog needed an ultrasound, she was able to get it there, and then results from a radiologist were back in two days. It was amazing to see what a team they are.
The docs referred and then consulted with a specialist on our case and even made special posts on a vet only website that doctors use for difficult cases.
It is nice to know that your animal friend is in such capable hands, from the smiles and pets at the front desk to the "nurses" that check you in to the doctors that treat your pet the medicine and care is excellent.
I think the real magic of this clinic happens behind the scenes, where everyone works so well together. I have never been to a clinic where the doctors and staff are such a team. There are some brilliant minds there and they compliment one another so well. Now if I could only find doctors for myself that were so good.

We used to take our dog who is no longer with us, to Northshore vet. Any time our dog had an emergency or needed urgent care they took care of us, got us right in and helped us out the best way they can. You can tell the vet truely loves and cares about animals and is so gentle with the animals. They let you make payments on the bigger bills and are pretty understanding payment wise and try their best to work with you. Our dog is no longer with us but if he was, this is the place to go.

PROS: gets you right in, lets you work out a payment plan
CONS: small rooms

We've been taking our dog here since he was a pup. He is now 7 years old. He's always received great service and the people have been caring and warm with him.
They send reminders for vaccines and allow payments for large bills.

PROS: caring staff, billing ease
CONS:
