I've only been in here twice (for past two Halloweens), and have had a good experience both times. Even though it was super busy when I visted this store, I was able to come up with Halloween costumes cheaply at the last minute at this place. From what i could see, they have a great selection of full costumes you can rent, that run the gammut of animals (I saw a horse) to clowns to pirates. They also have little neat things like face paint, fake mustaches, wigs and weird glasses. I also love that I don't have to walk down to Queen Anne to the other costume shop, I can just go to nearby Capitol Hill. Oh, and staff is really really nice!
PROS: Nice staff, eclectic selection of costumes and small notions.
CONS: No complaints.

Helped make my wedding perfect!

My friend got a really cute Halloween outfit at Brocklinds and told me that the staff was really helpful and they also had tux rentals and wedding dresses. So, when I started looking around for a wedding dress I stopped by Brocklinds. The people in the bridal area helped me choose a dress I was really happy with and I even got my bridesmaids dresses there. They did all the alterations and made sure I was completely happy with my dress! I have heard horror stories about other places and was very happy that everything went smoothly for me at Brocklinds! My wedding was beautiful!
