I love to eat their chili. I also love their buffet-style salad bar. When I went their, I ate beef chili with grilled beef and barbecued pork and beans. I also had several servings of fresh salad.

The barbecue ribs are tastless and boring at the Long Horn on Sunset Highway in Spokane. The prices are high and the food is bland. The salad bar is very barren with little selection. The restaurant looks great but be prepared to pay $15-20 for a plate of tastless barbecue. The meal was very disappointing.

People in Spokane rave about this joint because they don't know what real barbeque is; there's not much in town. I won't return to Longhorn unless someone else is buying. The meat is second-rate, dry and not basted enough while cooking. The sides are few and very bland. Give it a pass and head for Chicken-N-More downtown, or even Tony Roma's on North Division.

Longhorn has the best potatoe salad around. The ribs are good and the BBQ sauce is great. I like the drive thru and MOndays are $2 sandwichs so they are great to pick up for dinner.
