This salon has a clean and professional atmosphere, with good haircuts (depending on who your stylist is of course). I have never been dissatisfied here. They call you to remind you of appointments, and they have numerous products for sale. The receptionists can be kind of unfriendly sometimes, but once you get over that you can get a great haircut here.

Go to Gene Juarez or anywhere else it??s worth the money! The stylist that did my hair was so rough with my hair that it irritated my scalp when she combed it and when she used the hair dryer with the comb she continually stabbed my head and caught my ear numerous times. She didn??t listen to my request and completely butchered my hair. Also on top of my horrible experience the receptionist told me my haircut was going to be $39 dollars but then when she rang me up at the end they added an additional $10 because the stylist blew dried my hair and used the flat iron as a finishing touch which is standard anywhere else.

So please Go anywhere but here it??ll save you from an embarrassing haircut!

Allison is a fantastic stylist but the customer service I received from a receptionist and the owner was atrocious! Allison saved the day, though, working out a compromise that made all involved happy and me leaving the salon with gorgeous hair. Allison is great but try to avoid the front desk and owner as much as possible! If you ever need any special customer service, you'll be up the creek.

I think this place is a little overpriced for the quality of services that you get. I know they offer a slight discount for first time customers. I used to go here pretty regularly to get my hair cut, and the stylists I had were decent but not great. I think the convenience factor is probably the biggest draw for this place, it's right in the Village. If you try it out, ask for one of the more experienced stylists (and expect to pay a little more). They do use Bumble&Bumble products which I really like. As far as their other serivces, my friend swears by their painted-on tanning services, although I have never tried it.
