Excellent practitioners in multiple healing modalities working in setting that is beautiful and condusive to healing. 5 Star Rating - World class

I've been going to M'illumino since it opened and have tasted most of what it has to offer. I'm writing now to recommend both m'illumino and all of the teachers who work there. I think it's a wonderful place of healing. Everything about the place is intentionally geared toward enticing and empowering me to be all that I can be.

As a center it has offered me various opportunities to move beyond the physical energetic patterns/limitations I have been carrying for years as the result of multiple injuries. Although I have worked with others there for specific issues and have definitely benefitted from their skills and knowledge, most of my experience has been working with the Feldenkrais method as offered by Bridget Thompson in both her Awareness Through Movement classes and working with her privately (both on the table and in the incredible pool).

Through her skilled teaching and presence, I've learned how to gently observe (without judging!) how I habitually move while at the same time discovering that there are other possibilities for me to choose from. Recognizing that I actually have a choice in how I move -- that I can do normal tasks without tension or struggle -- has been key to my healing.

Being able to move without pain has opened up being able to play again ... dance again and change my mind ... and my direction ... in a much easier way.

A word about the pool -- I think everyone should experience WATSU -- it's an absolutely amazing experience to work with a skilled therapist in a warm, salt water pool outside. Go for it!

Obviously, I highly recommend M'illumino and what it's teachers have to offer. It's a great place if you're tired of living in pain, are curious about discovering new things about yourself and are motivated to move beyond the habitual into a new space of your own making!

Pros: caring and skilled practitioners, ambience
