Let me start off by saying just how nice their facility is. We live on Queen Anne hill and we just popped onto 99 south and arrived in minutes.

We purchased a beautiful blue 2009 535 xDrive. fantastic atmosphere even in the service

Brought my 2000 328 in to have the window fixed. All of them come off their tracks frequently. While it was there, they informed me that I needed new brakes. Had them replaced. Not 50 miles later, the entire cooling system went. I realize that with older BMW's things tend to fail. However, I find it strange that it would go so soon after being serviced. BMW had no explanation. 6 months later I thought coolant was leaking so I took it in under the 1 yr warranty on service. They told me something else was wrong not related to what they had fixed and it would cost me #800 to fix. This was after sitting in their waiting room for 4 hours with no one ever contacting me. I finally asked what was up and they said they couldn't find me. I sat in the same spot and they had my cell phone number!!! I took my car to an independent garage and they told me nothing was wrong. BMW Seattle service is either incompetent or corrupt.

Compared to Bellevue BMW there is no contest Their sales department is second to none. I sent an inquiry to their internet department and within minutes I was emailed back with information I needed. I scheduled an appointment for 10am on a Saturday and by 11am i was driving away. Adam organized everything with me via email and was not pushy at all. All Bellevue would do was ask me to come in, refusing to deal with me until I was there. Their loss. Seattle's facility is truly spectacular and will make the drive over from the Eastside worthwhile.

I recently purchased a 2004 M3 and took it to BMW Seattle for a major service. I made an appointment to drop off the car at 9:00 and was kept waiting until 9:45 until finally the service manager saw me after me asking to see someone 3 separate times. I expressed that I wanted to pick up my car at the end of the following day. After waiting to hear from someone that the car was ready, I left several messages for my Service Advisor who never returned my call. I finally got hold of them and was told that they had left a message early in the day that morning on my home number that there was some additional work done. I had given them my work number and they hadn't tried calling me there. I was not able to pick up the car that day and approved the additional service. The next day it happened all over again. No call that the car was ready, I left a message that was not returned. I called and was put on hold for 15 min before asking to speak to the service manager. This has been the worst service I have ever received at a car dealership. BMW is suppose to stand for excellence in service and I am greatly disappointed

Everyone was extremely nice and professional. They treated me as if I owned the $70K+ car. They fixed my problem without any extra charge than a diagnosis. And even though I arrived before they had called me, they were willing to offer me a loaner even before the day was over so I didn't have to wait. I highly recommend this place.

I am currently in my second lease with BMW of Seattle. Have had great customer experience with them. Have leased a 5-series and Z4 coupe. Cars have been excellent - marvels of engineering. At first I was scared of going to BMW because I am a younger customer and thought they might be unwilling to work with my budget. That was not the case. They got me just the car I wanted, did not pressure me at all, and actually asked me "are you sure you want this car" because the Z4 isn't for everyone. Having recently been to another delearship for an SUV purchase, I found that BMW of Seattle has raised the bar and will not leave you with a typical feeling of car buying regret.

Pros: Great customer care; great cars; exceptional and consisent service

Cons: Smaller dealership (they're building a new HQ)

I scheduled appointment with 1 of their managers to actually choose a car to buy and when I arrived to the dealership nobody waited for me, after some time he appeared and told me that he can't be with me right now. As appeared later he have got richer client 15 min before I arrived. I'll never ever will go to this dealer. This attitude is not acceptable for me.

I purchased an older BMW but with low miles and excellent maintenance. When I took it in the 1st time I asked them to check out the transmission warning I had received, do the oil change and also replace some bulbs in the interior and check out the electrical. They replaced the bulbs had no answer for the transmission and thought the electrical was okay. They did not put the interior panels in the back of my car back in place and there was evidence that things stowed in the back had been tossed around, they did not reset the convenience lights that let you know when you need an oil change. This all cost just over $1000. Next time I took it in was again an electrical issue. Now the car was blowing a fuse each time I turned my headlights on, my gauge lights went out. Took it back and $519. later it was explained that they had found 4 wires that were bad and had repaired them, NOW they tell me that these older cars a lot of times need a new wiring harness (approx $2000.) Now my trunk lid on my wagon pops up each time I turn my head lights on! When I called for help the only option I was given was the new wiring harness that I feel should have been suggested in the first place! Instead of charging me for patch jobs! If they know something like the wiring is a problem, why not bring it up in the beginning? At least that way the owner of the vehicle has the option of having it checked 1st, or trying the patchwork option.

I had my car serviced at BMW Seattle twice. First time, the wait was 5 times longer than promised, and then they gave my car away to a wrong person. And they weren't even similar cars! The service manager sorted things out, so I was dumb enough to go there again. this time the wait was 3 times longer than anticipated, and they messed up my door lock switch. All that for $105 an hour.

PROS: Good service manager and one of the advisors.
CONS: Some employees are quite incompetent.

I had a problem that was difficult to fix and required a part that needed ordering. The delay could have been very inconvenient but BMW provided me with a loaner car during the entire period so there was no problem. I really appreciated the way they treat customers.

I took my BMW in and had a service advisor tell me excactly what I needed. He spent time going over all the possible costs and outcomes, which I really appreciated. This is not always done at auto repair shops.

BMW Seattle is one of the only dealerships in the area that treats it's customers really well, even after the deal is done! We bought our car five years ago and the salesmen still remember us and chat with us whenever we bring our car in. The service department is simply the best - repairs are completed professionally and quickly!
