This is a professional place. I was talked to about ingredients, a small bit of science and what was good for my skin (and not so good), had a treatment and left feeling great.
Everone was friendly and helpful, organized. I usually like to go to diferrent places but I will go there again next time because it was such a good experience!

I have been doing facials for decades and have been going to Skinlogic for years. The estheticians are knowledgeable, professional, and don't try to push products onto you. I never feel pressured to buy something or try a particular service. I also prefer the no frills "doctor's office" type of environment. This is a place for solid skin care and not for a relaxing spa treatment, in my opinion.

I recently went in for my first facial ever and was relieved to be met by a friendly receptionist who shared with me her skin woes and wows with the staff help. I came in simply to start shaping my skin up for my wedding this summer since over the counter products were not making a change. After an incredibly relaxing and informative session with Laura I felt totally weightless and beautiful. The products recommended have made a great difference in a very short time. I have no regrets and look forward to my next appointment!

I have never had good skin until Skinlogics. I have always had an acne problem & had started to see the signs of aging. I it rock bottom after turning 30 when my hormones made my acne unbearable. I was embarrassed to be seen in public, even with concealer.

I started seeing Heather & Kim a year ago & FINALLY am happy in my own skin. My acnes problem is cured & my skin looks younger than it did 5 years ago! Kim rescued me in time for my wedding, clearing up my acne & Heather has pretty much erased any wrinkle that dared show on my face. I get compliments all the time on my skin. Now & am finally confident to go out without concealer. I love my skin. Thank you Heather & Kim!!!

In need of a good facial, I went to Skinlogic after hearing about it from friends and reading the online reviews. And I have to say that I am absolutely happy for doing so, the facial was amazing. I will definitely continue to go there again! My skin feels so soft and refreshed!!! Love it.

The knowledge of their estheticians is extensive. I had a very good consultation with time to discuss my history, there seemed to be a focus on ingredients-to make sure the ones that are chosen will be good for me based on my past product use/experience. My skin has improved more than any place I have tried.
I have had 3 skin treatments and I am LOOKING GOOD. Now I notice, I need to improve my teeth to match my skin. THANK YOU SKINLOGIC I WILL KEEP COMING!

I am a guy and I kept putting off visiting a skinclinic to have my face looked at because...I am a guy. I thought I'd feel awkward sitting in a lobby full of women but I am glad I got over that almost ridiculous notion. Writing a review about this place is really about writing a review about the service I get here. I believe I was fortunate enough to run into Heather for my first appointment and I've had multiple appointments with her since and the level of service in general is very good.

I am not a fan of naming people online but I noticed a complaint regarding Heather in one of the earlier posts and simply put, Heather's really good at what she does. She's very friendly, listens, suggests and recommends skin care products (doesn't / didn't really push me into buying anything) and is overall a great person to be looking after your face / skin.

Coming back to the place, parking can be a problem but the folks at Skinlogic are helpful with their vouchers so your precious car won't get ticketed / towed (make sure your park in the parking lot near this place). I was going to give this place a 4.5 / 5 (not that I can since the website doesn't allow me to) since I do not usually give anything a 100% but the friendliness I've become accustomed to and the level of service I expect now makes it a no-brainer to highly recommend this place (and Heather).

I used to visit skin logic regularly for facials but I often left feeling overwhelmed by the sales pressure to purchase products. Every time I have visited (except 2x) I have been asked what product I am currently using and I have been prompted to purchase more. I just wish that they would ask if I am interested in hearing about some other products instead of directly launching into the sales pitch when I am checking out.

The worse time was when I was standing in front of the receptionist listening to a fairly long lecture on various products that my esthetician wanted me to use. The irony in this is that she hadn't asked me what my skin care goals were and the products she was recommending did not align with what I wanted. I also feel frustrated with this because it feels like it doesn't matter what I tell them, and that they will always have more stuff for me to purchase. I am using (on their advice): dermalogica daily microfoliant, Murad Essential C Cleanser, Murad Essential C Day Moisture with SPF 15 and Murad Perfecting Night Cream. That is enough of a skin care routine for me but inevitably I am prodded to purchase more products.

This is my *favorite* place to get facials. I feel as if the quality of the estheticians is very good and I had quite a few facials at Skin Logic before my wedding with great results. I still go occasionally but I feel hesitant to book appointments purely because I am nervous about having to respond to the sales pitch at the end of each appointment. I wish they would change their approach on this one issue as I have tried a couple of other places for facials and I never like them as much as the facials I have received at Skin Logic.

I've been a regular Skinlogic customer for 2 years. During that time I've learned that, while some of their staff are superb, their management is really poor. The woman who did my last facial got too aggressive trying to clear a blemish and left me with a large cyst on my temple that lasted for a month. An honest mistake, but when I brought it to their attention they didn't offer a refund or even an apology. Hello, I get facials to make my skin look BETTER, not worse. This underscored my impression that the owners are not service-oriented and take a short-term, profit-driven view. Maybe the owners' difficult personalities help explain why three of their top clinicians have left in the last year - just as I'm getting to know who the best staffers are, they leave. Which means their staff is getting gradually less experienced. Time to find a new clinic.

I have to start off by saying I am obsessed with skin care and have tried many, many different spas/clinics in seattle. The staff at SkinLogic were incredibly knowledgable and kind. My skin has always been dry and sensative and i have tried everything under the sun from hundred dollar face creams to regular store brands. Even when i told them that i was very interested in them recommending products for me, they were not pushy at all. my facial was great and she walked me through everything she was doing and why. after she recommend products based on my skin type. i purchased almost all of them and i cannot tell you how happy i am that i did. my skin is no longer irritated, blotchy or dry. i can go out without foundation for the first time in years! SkinLogic is amazing!!! I am telling all my friends about it and will be back for sure!

I've had lots of facial through the years and they've been relaxing but not very effective. I recently had the best facial of my life with Amy. She was FANTASTIC! My skin looked amazing afterwards, I had a glow (?) She sugested a few products but there was no pressure at all. She was really patient with all my questions. And my skin still looks great so I think her sugestions were right on the mark. I'll definetly go back to see Amy again. I haven't seen anyone else there, so I can't say what the other estiticans r like but I can't say enough great things about the gal I saw. However, the music is irritating most of it is new age stuff that I don't care for but there was even a lullaby. So if you can get past that and some parking issues it is definetly worth every dime. :)

I have been a client at Skinlogic since they opened. Scott and Rebecca have created a wonderful place for quality skin care. The services are comprehensive, tailored to your individual needs. I have sensitive skin since being chemically exposed a number of years ago. My facials have allowed my skin to calm down; it looks and feels healthy and hydrated. Skinlogic has something for everyone.

Kim is the best!! Not only does she have flawless skin, but she's super sweet too! I first went to Skinlogic last year with TERRIBLE skin; acne, blackheads, whiteheads, you name it, and it was on my face. Kim specialized a skin cleansing routine that was tailored to my sensitive and stubborn skin and now it's flawless! I can honestly say that I haven't had such amazingly clear skin since I was in grade school. Thanks Kim!!!

Skin logic offers and performs wonderful facials and my Aesthetician (sp?) Adriana is fabulous! My skin has improved so much since I started going regularly and each of the 5 or 6 times I have gone the experience was relaxing, energizing, and my face looks and feels wonderful - I have received more compliments on my skin in the last few months than ever before. I used to think of facials as a luxury - I love the results so much they have become a necessity.
One bit of advice I would give to anyone having a service performed anywhere (like the negative comment from early April): Be an empowered person and if the person providing the service is doing something you are unclear about or you dont like - SAY SOMETHING or ASK..... My experience is verbalizing (I like using English but choose your own language) is a lot more effective than telepathy. (As far as I know, mind reading isnt one of the services offered by Skin Logic.)

I love skin logic, I have been going for years and my skin has never looked better. I read the bad review and it really sounds like someone who can't be pleased EVER! Skin Logic not only is amazing, but ALL the staff and owners are fabulous and each of them are very skilled. Skin Logic is so relaxing and lovely, I just can't believe that anyone would say such horrible things. I have been having facials for years and I have to say this was one of the best facials I have ever had! I received the Clinical facial. One of the best parts was the lovely scalp massage while I was masking. I could have stayed in the nice cozy bed for ages. The worst part was having to leave! The esthetician was very informative. She analyzed my skin and made some great suggestions of product to get. I didn't feel like it was just a sales pitch either. She seemed to really care about the state of my skin. I definitely will be going there again.

I recently went to Skinlogic for the first time. I went because of the research I did on this site (citysearch), I was impressed with the great majority of rave reviews compared to the other places. So I am pleased to say I can add to the majority and feel I MUST comment on a negative review that I just read regarding Heather. I was fortunate enough to have my appointment with Heather and I don't know what that person is talking about!
Yes there was a cool, refreshing towel at the end of my facial, but many toasty warm ones preceeding it. I didn't experience any constant glove wearing (only while she did extractions) or unclean practices and I am a nurse!! She took more time with me, answering my questions than any other place I have been to (I have had facials at 3 other places in Seattle). As a matter of fact, she was the most professional aesthetician I have ever dealt with and I will see her again for my next facial, my skin looks great too! I think it's rude to drop names on the internet like that if you are going to be mean, what is wrong with you?

Not a good spa experience to put it mildly. "Heather" wore gloves which changed how my facial felt....think lotion on latex. The worst part was with no explanation she left the room twice after starting my facial and returned opening and closing the door with her gloved hands and didn't put clean gloves on. I should have said something...there is no excuse for introducing whatever was on the door handle to my face TWICE! A big no-no. Then she gets product in my eye and proceeds to put some mystery drops in my eye without bothering to tell me what she is using. That warm towel you usually have on your face was cold. The front desk was noisy and laughing loudly. The hand massage was a joke. It was not quiet and relaxing at all let alone the horrible facial experience. I tried to call the manager....never got a call back. Unbelievable.

My friends have been loyal clients at Skinlogic for years and keep telling me to go. I have always been skeptical when it comes to skincare since I have been raked over the coals my Nordstroms and Inspa and a few others. I always walk away with products that cause me to break out and my skin after the treatment is blah. So I finally relented and boy was I in for a surprise. You can tell right from the start from how professional the estheticians are and how truly concerned they are about you and your skin. The treatment was amazing and my skin was glowing for days and the products they recommended actually work!!! I am so happy I finally went and now I am officially a loyal Skinlogic client :)

I am a happy returning customer, never let down by the estheticians there. My skin really has improved and I feel a strong loyalty because of the care and concern that I ALWAYS receive. For the past two years, I have seen the same faces repeatedly which tells me they have a high employee retention, I like that too.

I've had other facials before, but Skinlogic is the best I've had. From the moment I walked in, the employess are friendly without being pushy. I began with a consultation where my aesthetician looked at the products I brought in and explained why they might not be best for my skin and only adding to the problem. If a product was working well for me, she admitted that and never tried to get me to buy anything. She then took me back into the treatment room where the bed was cushy and heated. Although I got a treatment-type facial which is not the most relaxing kind you can get at Skinlogic, my aesthetician made it very comfortable and enjoyable using only the gentlest touch on my extractions. At the end of my facial, I was very pleased with how my skin felt and wished it didn't have to end. I bought a few of the products the aesthetician used on my skin and am already seeing a slight difference in how my skin looks and feels after only three days! Skinlogic has made a repeat customer out of me.

I Loved Skinlogic! No frills, warm staff, GREAT PRODUCTS. Clean and to the point with what they do, the bed was comfy and heated, the feel was friendly and relaxed, I could visit with my service provider and not feel like I had to be "hushed". It is an overall very positive environment and people seem to like each other there too. My skin felt and looked AMAZING right after my Glow Treatment, and it still does a week later. This is it for me!

My experience compared to other places that have the same "clinic feel" is that these aestheticians seem to think more about what they do and how the skin works rather than just throwing out random suggestions to do this or that for no good reason. My experience at Skinlogic has been helpful to solve some issues that affected my skin, I have experienced annoying sensitivity and random redness/irritation for years, always looking for help. After we did a little tweaking with my homecare, I had three face treatments. I was also given great information on things to avoid in my daily life that didn't have to do with skincare. My results have been markedly positive! For the first time ever, I have fun taking care of my skin and I can use things I never thought I could, my skin is healthier than I can ever remember.

I have yet to actually be at skinlogic. I have called them at least half a dozen times, and believe it or not i have gotten hung up on almost every time, they pick up and hang up. I even left two voicemaills stating i wanted to make an appointment for facials and eyebrow shaping but NO answer! They are rude and do not deserve the positive feedback on here! extremely disappointing.

I will NEVER go another place for my skin care needs. After one facial, my face looked glowing and radiant. The front desk staff is knowledgable and friendly and the providers are the best in the business. They carry great product lines line Dermologica and Murad and stand behind them 200%. You have to go treat yourself to a walk around Green Lake and the most amazing, stimulating facial in the world.

I've read such great reviews about Skin Logic, I decided to give it a try since the esthetician I normally see was on vacation. I did not feel the facial was nearly as relaxing - and worst of all, the extractions really hurt! I suffered through it thinking it was for a good cause. But when I got home and looked at my face, I looked scarred! And this morning, I have broken out in certain areas of my face. I never break out and have excellent skin. This has never happened before with my other esthetician and I am used to getting regular facials.

I was going to buy a gift certificate for my sister, but after my experience at Skin Logic, I have changed my mind and will not return.

I have been getting facials for years with the thought that pampering was just as important as results. WOW was I sadly mistaken. I have been paying over $100 for facials for quite along time and thought that the decor and robes justified the cost and thought that I was getting the best facial possible and then one of my friends told me about Skinlogic and my face has never been happier. The facial cost was substantially less and even my husband asked what I was doing to my skin. MY HUSBAND noticed the change, now if that isnt a glowing reccomendation I dont know what is. The treatments were still relaxing but they really focused on exactly what my skin needed and amazed me with how knowledgeable they all where. The spas can keep there tea and wind chimes since I am now a loyal client of Skinlogic :)

I have been to Skinlogic now for 4 facials/treatments and I keep meaning to write a review. Now that I have been there repeatedly I have a better perspective in the overall experience at Skinlogic and with my skin.
I am a 40 year old female, I have always washed and moisturized my skin but do have some minor flaws that I would like to diminish..small scars, spots, slight uneven tone and minor signs of aging. blackheads.

Through my visits at Skinlogic, I have learned that I was taking minimal care, and in my words mediocre care of my skin, not knowing that there was a "higher level" available. In a short time I have a noted improvement in my skin and I have not yet started any of the more assertive treatments yet (but plan to).

I feel I look more healthy and alive, I really enjoy washing my face and the rituals of applying the products which have been chosen just for me, for my skin. I have a new way of caring for my skin and I have been guided clearly and carefully by the staff (three of their therapists so far) at Skinlogic, they have answered my (sometimes silly) questions and provided me with encouragement. I am certainly satisfied! Thank you

I went to Skinlogic because of the award they won in Seattle Magazine for best acne treatment and I am so glad I did. I simple cant stop raving about the experience I had to all my friends. From start to finish they really raised the bar on what skincare is all about. The front desk person was all smiles and my esthetician was amazing. We did an in depth consultation that answered all my questions and they even said the cleanser that I had brought in was using was great. Can you believe that, a place that truly cares about person and not the sale. I loved my treament and lets face it, extractions are not my favorite and it just seemed easier there. My esthetician kept checking in with me to see if I was okay and you could truly see she cared. After the treatment I was recommended some products and really explained how each one worked on my skin. I never felt pressure but was for the first time truly informed. I cant wait to go back and several of my girlfriends have already gone and should be writting about their experience. Skinlogic truly sets the bar for everyone else, if you get facials or acne treatments this should be the only place you go.

It's my first time for ever wriing a review about a skin care centre but this one is really worth it. I need to share this treasure that I have discovered. It is called SKINLOGIC. I have problem skin (acne and scarring) and have been getting facials and skin treatments for over 25 years. I know all the products out there, I have used them all and have experienced all the treatments too. I so lucked out by discovering this place. By pure coincidence, I was walking by it one day and decided to take a brochure outside the door. I made an appointment and after the very first time, I knew I had finally found the right place for me. SkinLogic is by far the MOST SUPERIOR place I have been at in 25 years, both in terms of having the most recent technology and products but especially in the incredible personalized service I have been receiving. Adrianna is the skin care professional that I have been seeing. She is simply the best. Never in all my years of experience have I come across someone so generous with the information she is giving me while treating my skin. Those of you who have been getting facials and skin treatments for years will appreciate this. How many times did you visit a skin care facility and have gotten treatments without really knowing what they were doing to you--you were sort of expected just to accept whatever they were saying without much dialogue or room for questions. Adrianna is completely the opposite. She is so professional. She knows all the technology and terminology, she can recommend and explain all the treatments that she has given me, and all this with a smile. As a result, my skin looks healthy, clear and beautiful and the scarring has really diminished, everyone is noticing it, this is only after four months of treatments. The prices are very reasonable too. I could go on and on but I'll stop here and recommend that you go see for yourself. You'll never go anywhere else after that.

I have been a loyal client for several years and would not think of going anywhere else. The reviews I have read that have been sub par, which are only 1 or 2, Totally miss the point of what Skinlogic is about. If you want wet rooms, waterfalls, and violins go elswhere. As for the pricing is it amazing for what you get. They carry 6 different product lines and can use so many different options in each treatment its truly amazing. I have never felt pressure and each esthetician has just reccomended and educated. They make your needs a priority and truly understand what is best for you. Its so hard to get in to see them that I encourage those 'spa' people to go elswhere so I dont have to book so far in advance. Go to Skinlogic and see for yourself you wont be dissapointed. The owners, which I have known for years, are great!!!

if you like feeling serene after a treatment do not go to skinlogic.although the location provides for small room accomodation i feel much more could have been done to make my experience both relaxing and beneficial to my skin. dont get me wrong, i dont have a complaints about the quality of service but the atmosphere needs to be revisited. it felt more like i had just gone to my doctor's office and paid hundreds of dollars for lotions i will never use, the girl who gave me a facial seemed to be paying more attention about what had happened to her face in the past than telling me how to take care of mine. absurd. in my own experiences and those of my friends the quality of customer service could vastly improve. the biggest downside was the front desk clerk who did not want to give me the time of the day when i was trying to let him know that i had come in for an appointment. he was rather rude! the owner, as i found out later always had a curt and short demeanor which never felt welcoming. but maybe it's my fault that i expect a service with a smile.

My friends kept raving about this facility in Seattle and I was very skeptical since I live in Manhattan and have gone to Space, Cloud 9, and Glow and am concidered a skincare junky and snob. Well let me tell you Skinlogic beat all of them hands down!!! We are not talking about decore since the places in New York spend millions on that perfect look but tend to fall short in the esthetician and treatment department. The look of Skinlogic is very nice but where it really shines is the knowledge of the staff and treatments. Simple Wow...They really spent alot of time on educating me on my skin and you could tell that they really cared about what was best for me. My skin looked simply amazing after the treatment and now I am hooked anytime I come into town. Oh and one other thing is that there gift certificates are truly adorable and makes you feel that you are unwrapping a present. Go, Go, Go..thats all I can say...

I have been going to SkinLogic on and off for the three+ years that they have been open. Their aestheticians have always done a wonderful job on my skin, but I will not be back based on customer service. After having a gift certificate that I misplaced, but was entered into their system,(even the name of the person who bought it for me) Scott (the owner) would not honor it, but would continue to take hundreds of my own dollars for service. When I again raised the question of the ceritificate showing up on my history I was told by the front desk person that she would look into and Scott would call me. He never did and I have never gone back. Gift certificates that I have gotten have subsequently been given to others on the principle that I will not step foot back in that shop.

I've been going to SkinLogic for a little over a year now and I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am to have found them. When I moved to Seattle in 2001 my skin changed and broke out constanstly. I spent 4 years (2001 - 2005) trying everything - I tried every skin care system at Nordstrom, went to the dermatologist and followed his recommendations, tried an Aveda spa, tried the highest recommended european spas in the Seattle, and eventually bought a skin care beauty "bible" and tried to figure things out myself. All to no avail.
Here is where I wish I could post a before and after picture. My skin is a million times better than it was. I no longer have the little bumps all over or the random large pimples that seemed to pop up every other day. It's amazing - I just wish I would have found this place sooner!
I've seen 4 of the estheticians and each one was wonderful and very knowledgeable. (I especially love Colleen - every time I have a facial with her I feel like I'm catching up with a one of my girlfriends! Plus, she is always available when I have questions). The products and make-up are also amazing - wouldn't put anything else on my face.
I now get compliments on my skin all the time - I never thought this would be possible!!

Skinlogic is a skin center simple put but they do it right. Though I relax in the treatments they focus on what is best for my skin everytime. Most skin centers try to upsell you to the latest expensive treatment, machine, or botox. It was explained to me that Skinlogic doesnt do these treatments since they dont focus on the latest 'fad' treatments but more long-term what is best for my skin. They truly have the most knowledgable estheticians in Seattle and they encourage a team atmosphere which is refreshing. After reading all the other reviews about Skinlogic and this one I cant see how you would think of going anywhere else for facials and treatments other then Skinlogic!!!

SkinLogic provided a personalized treatment plan for my skin that produced results. I have been struggling with my skin for years and finally found a solution. From the person at the front desk to the varied esthiticians I saw, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They considered the best treatment with cost in mind.

It was like a breath of fresh air to come into a place where you could see people working together in a positive environment, being considerate and friendly! I felt very welcomed and recieved a great service from a competent esthetician....even another staff member joined in to give her knowldgeable, caring advice. I already have my 2nd appointment scheduled and my skin feels better than ever! Really Great!

I would like to add my comments here: I live out of the country but was referred to skinlogic by a cosmetic company for a source of advise for their line. After placing an order, the owner, Scott, personally phoned me to confirm my order. As I explained some serious skin problems/concerns I was having, he took almost an hour of his time with me to offer some very sound advise. He did not push products on me, but at my request, made some suggestions. He acted as if he had all the time in the world for me, and was genuinely concerned with helping me. I have not been this impressed with a business owner in a very long time. Scott has earned my patronage, even from the Bahamas! Thank you again Scott.

I saw a negative review (the only one) that says that Skinlogic facials can do in a 'pinch'. I have been a loyal client at Skinlogic for 3 years and go every month and that review is just plain WRONG. Since I do allot of traveling I used to go get facials all around the nation at 'top spas' and stopped doing that all together because of the knowledge, attentiveness, and wonderful service I get from Skinlogic. If you want a waterfall then go somewhere else but if you want the most knowledgeable, caring staff that will always look out for your skin then there is no other place then Skinlogic. The 'glow treatment' is to die for!

I called 5 different spas before contacting SkinLogic. I needed somewhere which could accommodate my elderly mother who cannot lie flat! From the very beginning, the people at SkinLogic were courteous and very understanding about my requests. My Mother had a fabulous time and a great facial.
The estheticians are extremely thorough and have a knack for treating each person differently in accordance with his/her needs.
I highly recommend this establishment.

I found I had to guide the person doing my facial through the process. I didn't get the feeling she really knew what she was doing. The rooms are kind of blah, the atmosphere not as relaxing and seems to miss the whole ambience feeling I like when I get a facial. Also emailed them at one point and never received a response. But they're good in a pinch.

I went to skin logic for the first time about two weeks ago and was so impressed! I had a microdermabrasion treatment and was treated like a queen!! The staff really took the time to get to know me and talk about my skin concerns. My skin has never looked better! Because it was my first microdermabrasion I ventured elsewhere for my second and was shocked (I would not suggest high maintenance skin care in C. Hil) at the the difference in the care I got from skin logic. GO!!! Dont try elsewhere because you will be disapointed.

I am a loyal client at Skinlogic, after 2 years of faithfully following the advise of these caring professionals, (I rotate between 3 aestheticians there, I like them all!) My aging skin is looking more vibrant and healthy, I have had unexpected compliments from my co workers and friends, even men have noticed! I mostly enjoy the benefits of the "smart skincare" philosophy there and I know my skin is better for it!

Pros: good value for servic, quality products, clean environment

Would it be to presumptuous for me to say that Skinlogic should be the only place that you go for skincare? I have bounced around from place to place always unhappy with services or the knowledge of my esthetician. I cant even count how many store counters I have been duped by and wasted thousands of dollars on what was supposed to make me look more youthful. Then I found my saviors in Skinlogic.

Skinlogic is a wealth of skincare information. No hard sell and each treatment is amazing! No doctors because I have had the worst time with hovering physicians telling me I would look better if they could just inject a bit of botox(get away with that needle) or spend thousands on there latest machine. Enough gushing but if you have every thought about any type of professional skincare then Skinlogic is the only place you should go!
