We visited PALOUSE TREASURES all the way from Ottawa Lake, Michigan, and found it to be very organized with GREAT prices and lots of merchandise. Fun shopping! Next time we are out West, we will definitely stop in again! YOU GOTTA GO! GO! GO!

I had a gently used bed and mattress that I wanted to donate. I set up an appointment with Rick, they guy that picks up beds. We had scheduled an 11am pick-up. He called at 8am that morning to see if he could come by earlier. I could not change the time, and we proceeded with the original pick-up time. However, Palouse Treasures never showed up. They decided the pick-up (which they scheduled) was too late in the day and cancelled. When I called at 11:30am about when the bed would be picked up, Rick said, "I guess I should have called you to let you know we cancelled."
The salvation army also picks up beds, the lady I worked with there was very friendly, I would recommend them when donating.

I love shopping at this store! The prices are great, the staff is very friendly and their inventory is constantly changing. We have found some terrific bargains here including a car stereo for $2 that the dealership would have charged us $80 for. Now that's my kind of deal! :) I also really like that the proceeds go to the people that work there and also to other training programs for the disabled. Such a great cause and one that we all should be supporting.
And for the lady who posted earlier about being uncomfortable with the hugs...that issue has been addressed by the staff now. One of the employees who regularly gave me hugs in the past let me know that he was not allowed to do that anymore...new rule at work. I hope you and your daughter will be comfortable going in there again now that the issue has been addressed. :)

I am constantly stopping in at Palouse treasures to see what I can find. Tons of items and wonderful staff. Handicapped folks help run this and I always look forward to my hugs from them. I donate to them as well as buy a lot from them. Will continue to support them as long as their in business.

Lots of stuff for a great price! I love coming over to see whats new. I think that its great to see a thrift store doing so well. This is an example of the type of business that can thrive in an economic downturn.

What a treat! This place is a college kids friend when it comes to filling your apartment for inexpensive prices. The cool thing though is that it is a non profit organization to help the disabled and mentally challenged. It is their store essentially. The money that you use to purchase your new treasures goes right back to helping them. I love the staff and the volunteers. Everyone there is really nice!

I visit Palouse Treasures on a fairly regular basis - usually once a week. I enjoy seeing the new items that they have on display. The staff is pretty friendly. Unfortunately, since I am a fairly regular customer, there is one staff member who feels like they can hug me every time I go into the store. Although I realize that this store is staffed with developmentally disabled adults, I sometimes feel that they are lacking appropriate supervision. My daughter is not comfortable going into the store with me becuase of some of the staff members. This has only happened on a couple of occasions, but they need to be aware that there needs to be constant supervision there.
