When I'm going out, I like a place I can feel comfortable, there's nothing worse then going out to have a good time and feeling like people are judging you for what you wear or how you act, which you see a lot in upscale lounges. I call this place my favorite dive because the decoration is dated but the service, prices, music, and people are awesome. The bartenders really look out for you and there's always new, interesting friends to be had. I'm constantly running into musicians from bands we've all heard of... whether the bartender is buying the bar a round, the band invites you onstage to play with them, or an impromptu jam session burst out on the patio, I always have an interesting and awesome time here!

I love Mojo??s. It is a wonderful little bar and grill that caters to the locals residents of uptown Vancouver. They have a nice setup with music in the main area of the bar on the weekends and pool and darts in a side room for those wanting something a little bit quieter. The food is actually decent for a bar ?? definitely worth it if you are planning on going out to listen to the music and stay awhile. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, as are the patrons. This is just your neighborhood bar, welcoming to anyone that steps through the door.

We went to Mojo's to see a band. The parking is fairly limited. The bar is pretty small but the band we saw was good. The dance floor was a bit small as well. The beer price was good. It is ok for a local hangout in downtown Vancouver. We didn't eat food there so I can't comment on that.

I found this place okay but not awesome. The service was okay but the place was a little dark and dirty. The food was just okay and not much to brag about.

Do you want a little secret about Vancouver? Mojo's. I know they serve food and do all of the other things they need to do for business. But when I'm in the mood to just go and dance, I check out Mojo's. I tell friends at work (professional job, maybe too professional) that I had a great time at Mojo's, they always say they think the place looks a little shady. That's why I like it, nobody there judges you, it's just a cool place to have fun. And they've got Rogue Dead Guy Ale on tap! The nights we had the most fun the band was called Jellyroll.

Pros: Friendly service, low key atmosphere, great dance music

Cons: Don't go if you want a place to be seen like Beaches

Wow, okay so my first thought as I approached the bar was "Interesting place for a Cajun named establishment". It was, after all in a pseudo strip mall not far from downtown Vancouver. '

The tables were covered in cheap black plastic table covering, the water glasses were scuffed plastic Pepsi? glasses, and the bathrooms were behind a set of wooden swinging doors reminescent of a wild west saloon. In addition, though the men's and women's rooms were separate, each held only the stool while the sink and mirror were shared outside these lockable doors in the alcove separated by the bar by those fabulous swinging doors.

Though the menu included things like aligator bites and other Cajun food items, my friends stuck with more traditional menu items like nachos and chicken strips. The chicken strips basket looked to be comparable to most bar food as did the nachos. The table next to mine ordered fried chicken which came out to the table looking almost burned. Since I only had a bite of the nachos I can't really comment on the food other than the prices seemed reasonable.

My main reason for checking out the place was the band, so I figured I could tolerate the rest of it. Surprisingly, I had a great time. The drinks were cheap, the band was really hot and the patrons of the bar especially friendly and ready to dance at the drop of a hat.

I don't know that I would go back again unless for the band, but it was definitely an experience I won't soon forget.
