While not authentic it is good and consistent time and time again. During lunch they offer $7.95 rice bowls which is a killer deal as the entrees are priced on the high side otherwise. I have yet to find, on the eastside, a cheap Chinese

I absolutely love this place! There are very few restaurants where I can safely order a gluten free meal and know that it's truly gluten free - such a relief! I certainly hope more places start serving gluten free dishes.

Wonderful job PF Changs did today for our Buffet-Family Style CuisineLimo arranged for takeout today. The catering order was for 130 people (Good size group) Although there are many great choices of chinese restaurants around Bellevue- Redmond. Many of our Clients are extremely happy with PF Changs Chinese. CuisLimo has a great relationship with the head/sue chefs and admen?s (Maybe that increases the wonderful service. Today for lunch we included a separate smaller buffet for Gluten Free. That went very well. Note: PF. Changs and CuisineLimo met in person and talked via 467-8008/637-3582 days in advance. All the catered takeout items looked and tasted fresh and flavorful as CuisineLimo Catering team kept the buffet line always appetizing for each wave of high tower offices workers. PF Chang's have earned trust to consistently prepare food in a timely manor. As Cuisine Limousine has token mutable thousands of PF Changs custom take out food to Kirkland, Redmond, massive amounts in Bellevue. I liked this place. The food and service were both good.

I must say that for a large party the "family" style didn't really cut it for us. We weren't sure how much to order and it's strange to order for a large group of people whom you don't really know.

Other than that, everything was great.

First of all, this P.F. Chang's has never impressed those that know good Chinese cooking. This particular restaurant needs to find new chefs. The food is over-spiced, salty (not good for your b.pressure), and caters more to those use to non-authentic Asian cuisine. I do like their novel way of greeting you by bringing the bottles of vinegar, soy sauce, hot sauce and the waiter personally mixes these with the Chinese mustard to your liking. Nice gimmick. Their dishes have beautiful presentation; but taste is sacrificed at the hands of an unqualified, perhaps overzealous chef. We ate at a P.F. Changs (with much reluctance after our experience in Bellevue, WA) in Santa Clara, CAlifornia; and I must say, they knocked our socks off. Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was pleasing to the palate. Their chicken moo shu was average, but the sweet and sour pork was mouthwatering and their candied walnuts and prawns were out of this world! Plus, this prawn dish included bits of honeydew melon. That fruit enhanced the overall flavor and married well with the sweet mayonaise sauce. We often order this walnut prawn dish in other Chinese restaurants, but this P.F. Chang's in California wins the prize.

It gets really busy here, but the food is great. I love the green beans and the honey chicken. Atmosphere is cozy in a good and bad way, and sometimes the tables are a little close together. It's a little pricey for Chinese food, especially since it's americanized chinese food. However it's worth the crowd.

I've actually worked for a PF Chang's in California up until a few months ago when I moved to Seattle. At Chang's you will receive a good meal, at a fair price/portion, good service, and consistency. Not glorious, but good! You'll also know that the people handling your food washed their hands. PF Chang's acutally PAYS a company to come in and do suprise health inspections monthly (these are HARDER than the state ones)! In response to the previous post. This person obviously DOESN'T know asian flavors as NONE of the dishes at PF Chang's have hoisin sauce in them. Only one dish comes with a SIDE of hoisin sauce and that is the roasted duck. Also, this person was mostly not being reasonable in the restaurant when speaking with a manager because the management WILL not let a upset sane guest leave or they will hear about it!

The food is hardly authentic Chinese but then again, it doesn't pretend to be. Those familiar with real Asian food will find the food over spiced, too sweet, too salty, and drenched with too much hoisin sauce. The tastes will stay with you all night. The wait is long and usually longer than the hostess will tell you. We've complained to the manager without avail. We did get a response from their corporate office after complaining vigorously about the poor service via email. Now that there are more new restaurants across the street at Lincoln Center the management might have an incentive to improve food and service. We stopped going there after several bad experiences.

This is a great place to eat in Bellevue and is conveniently located too. We had a great meal and really enjoyed the citrus hot tea. I liked that the restaurant is really lively because I felt I could comfortably have a "private" conversation. The dishes we ordered were delicious and large enough that we had leftovers for dinner! Yum.

PF Changs actually has quite good food. It's Chinese, altered to American tastes. The spices are mild, and the portions genorous. The one thing that gets me though is the salt - the dishes I can eat as a vegetarian (and my spouse says the same for the meat dishes) are LOADED with salt. I mean it's like a bag of potato chips. After eating there I need to drink pints of water I am just so thirsty.

The service is average - young kids given corporate training. On one occasion we had ordered something and they forgot it. The waiters response to me request for it was "You didn't order that". Well, whatever you say.

I am not sure who went and assumed this was authentic chinese, but apparently they didnt do their homework. My husband and I ate here for lunch. I ordered a vegetarian dish; he ordered a beef dish. Neither of us finished our meals, so we asked they be wrapped up. (We like to eat leftovers for lunch at work the next day.) The waiter, for whatever reason, decided to COMBINE our leftovers into one container. When we got home, even though we had 2 containers (though one was for each of us), one was full of rice, while the other was a combination of his beef dish and my vegetarian dish. As a non-beef eater (it will actually make me ill if I eat it), I was appalled that our meals were mashed together. Waiters who have ANY clue about customer service wouldn't have done this. What if we were just business associates and not husband/wife? What made him think it was acceptable to combine our 2 meals together????

Long lines do not mean good food!

    Food:
Spring Rolls - Dripping with oil as you bite into them.
Mango Chicken - Some of the chicken was undercooked and the dish was doused with a bland glaze sauce.
Curried Vegetables: Best of the 3 dishes but it really was just OK.

We had about 3 bites of the entrees and were ready to leave. The waitress called in her manager after we politely asked for the bill. The manager was very nice, and listened to our feedback. Others have complained about the oily spring rolls. Also stated that since it was our first time, she would have ordered other dishes (which she circled on the take out menu she brought to our discussion). Gave us some free appetizer coupons to encourage us to give them another try. Thanks, but no thanks.

P.F. Chang's is my very favorite restaurant! Light and delicious, not heavy like regular Chinese food. Incredible orange chicken and pan fried noodles. Love the "special sauce" made right at the table. Long wait is the only deterant.

This is an insult to Chinese food and real Chinese restaurants around the Puget Sound area. The food is prepared just like any other Chinese Restaurant in this world it just has a good wait staff and has caught the trendy people of Bellevues attention. Granted the interior design is comfortable but it goes to show money spent elsewhere and not on the food is going to give you horrible food and a nice chair. I suggest going to a cheaper Chinese Restaurant and finding a dirty chair with great food.

The lettuce wraps are great but the rest of the food is well below the quality victuals that you can get in almost every Chinese restaurant in the Interanational District. The service was poor as well. Chang's is a great concept but the execution is terrible.

It's too busy and showy and the food isn't good enough to call Cahang's "romantic."

Okay - it's a mall restuarant so bewarned if you are looking for the real deal. That said, it's not too bad after a morning of shopping to stop in and have lunch. The wonton soup is bland but the bowl is enough to serve 2 hungry/4 starters and the condiments on the table bring flavor to the broth. The lettuce wraps are okay and the fried spring rolls are better than most. My favorite is the garlic spinach, a meal in itself and as fresh and spicy as it's name. Prices are resonable and portions are decent for a lunch - dinner is another matter. Don't rush over to eat there but if you are at the square and need a nosh, try it.

We usually stay away from "corporate" restaurants. However, we find ourselves continually going back to this one. for better or worse, the food is always the same. consistency is important. we really don't care that the food is "not authentic". it suits our taste very well. always fresh, well prepared and tasty. we avoid the long wait by sitting at the bar. you'd be really lucky to have "Alexia" wait on you. she is one of the nicest, most heerful bartenders we have ever experienced.

Maybe my expectations were too high but I expected some great food according to my friends who have dined there before. The food was mediocre and the clientele snooty. But that's the crowd they're catering too: folk that are scared of hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants. But it caters to the "non-Asian" tastebuds very well and they make a very good effort to be "authentic." We were a little surprised that the waiter didn't know if they had white pepper.

Service was great. Stuff was so friendly. Interior was cool. The first time visiting was a wonderful experience. So we went there again. Their service was still great, however, we were so disappointed because of the food. Mongolian beefs flavor was nothing but sugar, which was sweeter than a desert. Thats too much! Other dishes were too salty. How come did the food turn to so bad? If you go there, ask them to use less seasoning. Then you will be saticefied.

The ambiance is great, but this is not authentic chinese food by any imagination. Over salty and sweet. Go to Sea Garden or Judy Foo's

As a Chinese myself, I am pretty picky about my Chinese food. P.F. Chang has good trendy atmosphere with a great bar, which you don't normally find in Chinese restaurants. But the food is not at all authentic Chinese! So, if you are looking for a place to just hang out with some good drinks and finger foods, this will be the place to be. But for a good Chinese dine out, I personally would not recommend it.

The portions are smaller than you might expect for family style Asian food, but the flavor is delightful.

It's a great place to dine with 3-5 people. Beyond that is a bit of a stretch. The restaurant really isn't designed to seat large parties and it's so popular that without a reservation (which I think they don't take if I recall correctly) you'll be hard pressed to get in with less than an hour+ wait.

The lettuce wraps were actually really good- but other than that it was only ok. Nothing was particularly creative, just appears to be buying into the 'fusion food' trend. Crowded, and yes trendy, and if you're hungry, it's not that bad (the location is convenient if shopping), but it's nothing I would write home about. Service was ok.

Really great service- really boring, bland food. Owned by Pepsi, this restaurant has had plenty of money to market test their food for what the average Joe thinks is tasty. Joe loves this place, but anyone a little more refined than the average American will not be impressed. Especially in Seattle, where we have a strong Asian influences sparkling all over, you can definetly find more exciting, creative food elsewhere. Support the small restaurant owner- it is better for our economy and your tastebuds!

This is by far the best place to go to get Chinese! I tried it for the first time in Las Vegas and I am so glad they put one in here! My boyfriend and I go there EVERY Saturday! The bar tenders are the best and they make a mean mandarin martini! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Food was awesome, friendly staff, only drawback is unless you decide to eat at the bar odds are you won't get a table. Line ups at any time seem ridiculous. Just a popular restaurant.

This restaurant is a rip-off. All they do is mixing a bunch of asian ingridients, call it chinese food, and charge you 30-40 bucks for it? I lived in asia for 15 years and have tried out many different chinese cuisines. And I guarantee u this is not what chinese food supposed to be. This restaurant should not be listed under chinese restaurant category, citysearch should put it under "americanized" or "Confused" chinese restaurant category :).

By far, some of the best food that I have ever had. I have eaten at many asian restuarants and have always found the food too greasy, or oily. The food at PF Chang's is always light with excellent flavor. Each waiter/waitress mixes its own special sauce to add to the meal. Try the lettuce wraps, and my personal favorite Mongolian Beef. This restuarant is worth going to.

I had heard wonderful things about this place and was all psyched to go. Very nice setting, but the food was a disappointment. We ordered the duck and spent $13 for a puny quarter of a duck. The crispy beef with vegetables had little beef and was mediocre at best. Very overrated and definitely overpriced. Any neighborhood chinese restaurant is superior to this. Service was attentive at first (we got there very early), but nonexistent after it got busy.

I am adding my strong opinion that P F Changs is a great experience and a good value. I have gone with my husband, and also for business meetings and count on a consistently good. The people I've gone to P F Changs with also think it's great. Our food (shared) was delicious, the service perfect and the atmosphere very nice. This is a great date place, and can be combined with a movie across the street, browsing in Barnes and Nobles, or shopping at Bellevue Square. My favorite thing to order is the delectable steamed fish which is moist and very lightly seasoned with ginger and scallions. Special desserts makes this a good place to celebrate. There are a lot of choices including raspberry cobbler with rich vanilla ice cream, or chocolate cake.

I love P.F. Changs - have always had a great experience here, the people are friendly & the food is very good - esp. with such great prices. Try the salad wraps & a cosmopolitan both yummy! The only bad thing about the place is that there is usually a wait, because it's so busy - but we always just go seat ourselves at the bar (cute too) and have no problems even right after work.
