I saw Kathleen Mahan for nutritional advice several months ago, and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Do not waste your time or money meeting with this woman. She offers questionable advice and does not pay attention to the needs and requests of her patients. I rarely post reviews (positive or negative) but my appointment with her was so terrible that I feel obligated to mention it.

How bad was it? She was so rude, unprofessional, and unsympathetic that I left her office visibly distraught and in tears. When she billed me for the appointment, I called her and expressed shock that she was billing me, considering it was obvious to both of us that the appointment went extremely poorly. She admitted that she had made several mistakes during the appointment, but insisted that despite these mistakes she had still provided ?services? (apparently her ?services? include dispensing poor advice and insensitively counseling her patients). Basically, because she spent the time with me ? regardless of the *quality* of this time - I had to pay. To me, this is the equivalent of ordering a steak at a restaurant and being served raw meat. When you complain, they still insist you pay full price. After all, technically you were served a steak. Outrageous.
