Every time I am at this particular Toys R Us store it seems that there is always some supervisor yelling at their employees. I understand a need to keep a store up and running, but yelling and demeaning an employee in front of a customer isn't the way to do it. I asked for a particular toy that they were out of stock of, so one employee said they would call the Tacoma Toys R Us and see if they had any in stock. I said OK, and waited. A manager came up to me and asked if I needed help, I said I have been helped and someone was on the phone with the Tacoma store for me. The manager asked if the Tacoma store had what I was looking for. I said I did not know. She immediately went up to the employee (who was on hold with Tacoma) and started yelling at the employee why they haven't notified the customer they were on hold and they can't just leave a customer hanging like that. The manager was practically screaming at the employee. I was in shock and felt bad, considering I was only waiting for one minute. Another visit, a saw a supervisor screaming at an employee for them to get a walkie talkie and why hadn't they had one. The poor employee looked fear stroke and just started saying that it was her first day on the job and she didn't know she had to have one. Brings me to another point, I avoid this store during seasonal hours. It seems like all the hired seasonal are thrown on the registers without proper training. None of them know how to process a check. They ask me if I would like to save 10% off by signing up for their Mastercard, but when I ask for more information about it they have no other information. I blame management.
The whole scene of Toys R Us is miserable. Every employee and supervisor there looks miserable. The music is always turned down so low you can't even hear it. Not to mention, there are never any employees to help out on the sales floor. The only help you can get is by asking a cashier. One day I asked a cashier if they can show me where a toy is, they walked me to the aisle and then I began asking them questions about the certain toy that I knew nothing about. As they were answering my questions their walkie called them to come ring up at the register. The employee said in just a second and that they were helping out a customer. The person on the other line said that they did not care, and to leave and get up front right away and they should have been up there when they called all cashiers. The employee apologized to me and left without finishing her answer to my question.
Who would want to work or shop at this place? Not me! They might have a big selection, but their inventory is horribly wrong and they are overpriced.

Toys R Us is conveniantly located right by the South Hill mall. It is normally a very busy store. They have so many toys for children of all ages. They even have a large assortment of baby toys and equipment like swings, and strollers. What we really love Toys R Us for is for their assortment of Power Wheels vheicles.
