Ratings_icons Rivers Edge Pub & Grill has fresh, local foods!

Wendy H.

The Rivers Edge recently reopened fro breakfast and lunch with a new menu, cooks and staff. Most of the ingredients are now sourced locally (like bread from Snohomish Bakery and coffee from Lowerys). Had lunch one day and brunch another - great food and atmosphere with reasonable prices!

It is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Wait staff seemed incompetent, let alone the general manager that was by far under experienced. The food was very overpriced for the quality you received. The bar is good but not exceptional, which makes me think they focused on the bar aspect of the restaurant rather than the restaurant itself. I am not sure what they were trying for but it failed in every aspect. I am very displeased to say the least that I have ever walked through the door of the River's Edge.

This place is incredible! If I had three thumbs I would put them all up. The service was great and timely, the wait staff personable, fair pricing, and the portions-- heaping!! I love it so much I've been there the last two days in a row. They even have an open mic night on Saturdays now and the place gets packed, but in a good, positive energy kind of way. So whether you're out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just after work drinks, this is the place to go.

Ratings_icons DEST DINER IN THE NORTHWEST - GREAT FOOD!!!!!

Joseph V.

Last Friday, I had dinner at the Rivers Edge in Snohomish and it was one of my most enjoyable dinning experience in years. The staff was polite and curious, and the food was excellent. I had a prime rib, which was one of the best I have tasted in years. I noticed that the restaurant was completely redone with the addition of a pub finished in beautiful hardwood. Their selection of beers and distilled spirits is outstanding. I especially enjoyed the tequila. This is one of the best small restaurants in the Seattle area and I highly recommend it. The new owners have done an outstanding job in remodeling the restaurant. I feel very much at home in the restaurant and will dine their many times in the future with my family and friends.

Ratings_icons Not good anymore Nov 2008

We have been going to this restaurant for yrs and I just walked in to have breakfast and thought I'd have a nice breakfast on my day off. Ordered pancakes and bacon and coffee. They offer toast with the pancakes. Strange. Apparently new owners and all new staff. They now have a bar. I should have noticed the problem as no one was in there. Very unusual. Well the pancakes were far too thick and hard. Looked like a leather saddle and took a bit of cutting with a knife. The bacon was very skimpy and blah.Nothing could make the pancakes taste good. Some people did come in and I wanted to warn them. Also the gal who served me was nice and I wanted to tell her she may want to look for another job. They need to hire some real cooks. I can't cook but I can make better pancakes than what I paid 9.66 for. I never finished the breakfast and did not say a word. I just couldn't. Try the Totem in Everett, great staff and awesome food!

This restaurant used to be good! with real bacon, real homemade cooking and fun employees... then they sold to new owners, now it is all MICROWAVED! Yes, I watched them try to cook our breakfast and after a couple bites we were done, rubbery eggs, thin gross bacon, fake (Denny's sausage). a real shame as this used to be our favorite every weekend restaurant, now we will not be back. Oh yeah, what cost the both of us 18 bucks for breakfast out the door, was 31 bucks with the new owners. Don't waste your time or money!,,, from a "Local"

Disregard the visual when you first arrive.........This place doesn't look like much, but for lunch it can't be beat!

As close to home cooking as you can get.. Typical lunch counter type fare. Great wait staff......most have been there for years.

Parking is a struggle, as it is on street.........and the restaurant is located in the middle of antique row downtown. Prices are reasonable.
