Randomly called in and wanted my haircut colored and highlights. Annie was the only stylist available and only because she had a cancellation. OMG I love her. I have never gotten so many compliments. I needed a low maintenance, trendy style and I got it.She even made it so that I culd stretch it a week or two between coloring to cover my gray.

Best brow wax/shape ever also.

I paid a lot but you get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier.

I definitly differ with the horrible anomynous persons comments. It doesn't sound like she even knew what she wanted. I had Annie do my hair for the 1st time a month ago and she gave me the best haircut I've
EVER had! I've been trying to get a certian style for a while but all the salons I went to....under delivered. Then I met Annie and she set the bar and then some. I liked her very much and trust it, I will keep seeing her!

By the way, this is a proffessional website and it just shows a lack of class when you have to insult someones appearance.

The only thing wrong with this salon (in my humble opinion) is the cost. I have my hair highlighted and colored. The upkeep can get a bit spendy. o...I actually get my hair done here...then go to a less expensive salon about two times in between. The local stylist does OK with my hair. But after two times...I HAVE to go back to Ashley. Nobody does my hair just like she does. They TRY to copy her cut and color...But they never get it just right.So...I always go back!If you can afford the price....I HIGHLY recommend Brassfield's.

I've never had my hair cut by anyone as talented as Celeste and I've been to many salons before finding her.It's very pricey and the front desk people are a little lame when it comes to making appts but Celeste is the best.

I love the services available at a very clean spa close to my home, but the customer service I get from the front desk girls is absolutely horrible. It is very important to make people feel at home, especially in such a competative business, I hope the business owners see this side and correct it, for their benefit.

I just read this terrible review by someone who obviously doesn't know what she is talking about. Annie has been doing my hair for the past seven years. I have been to several salons in downtown Seattle (where I live) and will never let anyone else touch my hair. Annie does a terrific job - always just what I want. It's a bit pricey - but is nothing compared to other high end salons. If you want a low end job at a low end price, this isn't your gig. But if you want to be treated right and have a fabulous cut and color, Annie is your gal!

I had my hair highlighted and cut by a stylist at this salon named Annie (an older lady with pockmarked skin) and she did a really awful job. She didn't listen to what I wanted and I ended up with brassy orange highlights (that she then put toner over, and I had a purplish tint on the ends). She layered my hair and it looked like hacked off steps, not blended layers, and then also cut off way too much length without even asking. I'm still trying to grow this out and she charged a lot.

What can I say. I love Brassfields.
My stylist always makes me look gorgeous. They take the time to listen to what you want and need and will give you their professional advice. The cuts and color are always fab and make sure you get waxed too!
Super professional and very relaxing atmosphere.
Very clean and they are always friendly.
Make sure and book your appt early they can be pretty full sometimes.

I went to Brassfields to treat myself one time but I left dissapointed with how much I paid to not get what I really wanted! I look young and I felt like I was treated differently because of that even though I could afford to pay. The stylist just seemed to do what she wanted also. I wouldn't go back.

Not as famous as Gene Juarez. But it's a hidden gem!! When you're out shopping for a wedding dress, ask who they recommend for hair and makeup, and Brassfields comes up. It's been reviewed and praised in magazines and for good reason. Upon walking in, you will be greeted - they are big on customer service. The interior is tastefully done, and very upscale, and relaxing. They have a number of professional hair artists, and they are very, very good.
The makeup person is by far the best! I've had my makeup done several times over the years, and it has never been as good as Brassfields. I have had it done at Nordstroms, by the Clarins National Makeup Artist, Smashbox National make up artist, Laura mercier, etc, and it's never been comprable.
Prices are expensive, but that's to be granted; it's a luxury spa!

PROS: Quality work!!
CONS: Expensive!

It can be kind of expensive to go here, but well worth it. You feel like a queen/king when you leave. The stylists are really good and the spa treatments - if you can afford to splurge, they are great!
