I had been going to Mke and Mechanics Pride since they were a small business many years ago. They have since grown and take on more jobs than they can handle. My daughter took her car in and they worked on the throttle body for a fuel problem. $300 dollars and two days later, she picked it up. On her way home her car stalled in the middle of Division. I called Mike and he started telling me I probanly needed a whole new throttle body. Ended up fixing myself. My son took his car in for idling problem. Quoted $700+ for repair which took 4 days. His car ran for a day and it was back to idling like crap. Took it back and they said they fixed it right. Afew days later same thing. My son refused to take it back. Then, I had my dodge ram in for rough idle. Mike convinced me to replace all the fuel injectors (on a v-10 engine) after $2000 and a week without my truck I picked it up. I asked them to save the old parts for me but they "accidently" came up missing. My truck ran better, but wouldn't pass emmissions. I was done!!!! I took it to Williams Auto and they replaced a fuel injector (supposedly new). The old injector was pitted and was told there was no way it was new. He replaced it and my truck ran like new. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to Mechanics Pride. They take on too many cars at a time, they take too long with your car and the young mechanics don't have a clue! Of course they can always fix it right with MORE money!!!

I called these guys the other day after reading all these good reviews on Google. I was stuck in the parking lot at work and needed to find a place to tow my car to. They told me to bring it down, they would be able to do a free diagnostic and we would go from there. I got the car started and still took it in, even though no tow was needed. I was met by a very nice mechanic who paid the street meter for me and walked me up to talk with their service writer. He was apparently in the middle of his lunch (around 4pm when they close at 5:30pm). I was asked why I had still brought it in. I told him it took me 45 mins to start and I needed to know what was wrong with it. He asked for the key and told me they would call the following day. When I showed confusion I was informed that there was 35 cars ahead of mine and they would look at mine tomorrow. He then seemed to think it was ridiculous to ask if my car would be locked inside over night or left on the street.
At 10am the following morning the same service writer called to tell me it was just a bad starter. They quoted me 204.99 for the part and 98.00 for the labor. SIX hours later they called to say it was done. When I went to pick it up they had the part marked at 234.99. He told me I was wrong and he had never quoted a lower price. I didn't argue, but told him they needed to let me leave with my car. He refused to talk to me anymore but did lower the part cost to 209.99. He did not let me start the car at the shop or walk me through what they had done like a lot of really good mechanics in different towns have done for me previously.
The research I did on starters for my vehicle came up with an after market option for $110 or a refurbished toyota option for $230. So beyond their "misquote" and sh*tty customer service they are also horribly overpriced. After I got home I also found that they apparently disposed of my positive battery connection cover at some point while working on the car, since it is not there now. I would not recommend anyone to go there and hope that there is a better service shop that I can go to in the future.

This is a great shop for tires for cars or trucks, oil changes, lube jobs, brakes, and other auto repairs. No appointment is necessary and it doesn't take long for them to get to work on your car. They're not too expensive and they will match any other auto repair shop's prices in the area. All of the mechanics are certified and they don't look like grease monkeys. There's a nice little waiting area that's clean and has a little tv to watch cable shows while you wait and there's coffee too.

PROS: quick and good prices
CONS:
