Based on the reviews here, my wife and I decided to give Casa Mia a try. It started off very promising. The aromas flowing from the kitchen were enticing as soon as we opened the car door in the parking lot. After reviewing the menu, we decided on a pizza and green salads with Blue Cheese dressing. The dressing was very good, another good sign. I added the shrimp to my salad for an additional $1.70 and it was the tiny canned shrimp. Not a good aroma or flavor from that. Ok, what did I expect for a buck 70. Still, my first red flag. But I'm enjoying the dressing, the lettuce is fresh and crispy and I'm looking forward to the pizza.

The pizza arrived and smelled great! It tasted great too. I really liked the crust and the sauce. Better than any of the chain pizza joints for sure. The sausage has good flavor and the toppings are all fresh.Other than the cheese being pretty much flavorless, it was very enjoyable for the first two slices while it was hot.
Unfortunately, they use a faux mozerella that has no butter fat and as soon as it is no longer piping hot, the cheese begins to congeal immediately and becomes so rubbery, its like chewing Bazooka Joe bubble gum. It ruins the entire experience. I can't imagine the thinking to chince on such an essential ingredient when they seem to be doing a lot of things right. Disappointing.

I live in Olympia, but always eat at Casa Mia when I happen to have a meal in Aberdeen. I really like their pizza and it's very reasonably priced! My husband really likes their meatball sub.

On our way back to Seattle from the western coastline of Olympic National Park, we were hungry and there were really no good eating options dirving through small towns near Hoquiam, WA. We saw Casa Mia and decided that we can't go wrong with some Pizza. Not only did we enjoy the food, but the whole experience was outstanding! The waiters/waitresses were very friendly, the food was high quality, and the prices were very reasonable. I didn't think there would be a nice restaurant like this in this area. Some of the other restaurants in the area looked run down and we weren't sure about going into them, but Casa Mia is one I would recommend!

Cons: In the middle of nowhere

Growing up in Hoquiam should make my review that much more biased, however I have been living in Seattle now for 8 years and I still need my Casa Mia fix! Where can you get a large pizza with everthing on it for $12? Pasta is $5 per plate. Salads are just your simple iceburg style with mozzarella cheese, olives and your favorite dressing...again did I mention the price? $1.50
If you are not into pizza and pasta you can order a steak. Their seasoned steaks are outstanding and with your dinner you get salad, your choice of pasta and dinner rolls. Again the cost? $9.99! If you decide to go on a Friday or Saturday, make reservations or get there early because they fill up quick! The only down fall is the seating is limited, however it adds to the ambience of a small italian restaurant.

Pros: Food, Cost, Ambience

Cons: Small, Too Much Good Food!

I just have to say that this restaurant is terrific. It is very popular and therefore always full at the dinner hour because of it's small size. It has less than 25 tables and serves mostly pastas, pizzas and italian foods. The food is really close in comparison to Anthony's in Westport without the higher prices and a little downscaled in the decor also.
The prices are amazing. Two of us can eat for a little more than $20 for dinner. And that even includes a beer or glass of wine. Portions are not huge but appropriate. They will fill most people and not leave any leftovers.
It is really hard to say what a gem this restaurant really is. We prefer to go here now than Bridges Restaurant or any of our other regular places.
If you can't get a seat for dinner you can order takeout. It is well worth the wait though.

PROS: Great food at low prices.
CONS: Extremely busy.
