I never enjoyed going to foods stores ever, I'll tried the discount food place that was hard thing to do' had to watch use by dates.
At Winco fresh food at low prices, I do have one thing to say about bagging my groceries it was ok didn't mine, but now I have become disable and move slower so things began to stack-up before I can get all my groceries bagged. I do try to come w/family members that can help but that not all the time I can get someone to come w/ me it would be nice to have someone there to help us shopper w/ disable bag items. ONLY THE DISABLE WHEN YOUR WORKER SEE US AT THE COUNTERS TRYING OUR BEST TO MOVE FAST

I love this store. I drive all the way from seattle to Kent at least once a month to shop here. I'm on a tight budget and compared to grocery stores in the city this store rocks. I get way more grocercies for way less and when you're on a budget that means a whole lot.

I can't believe I'm seeing so many people complain about bagging your own groceries. I HATE it when i go to another store and they bag it for me. They never put the same types of items in the same bag, so when i get home I have to sort it all out again. When i bag it I can make it easier to unload at home.

Prices: Amazing! Other companies may have good deals here or there (which Winco usually still beats or matches), but regular grocery shopping is cheaper at WInco than anywhere else.

My wife and I do our weekly meal plan and shop together. We bought about $88 of groceries at Safeway, and I wanted to try Winco. On the exact same items, or substituting equivalent quality (store brand to store brand, name brand to name brand) the bill came to $63.
The selection is very good, though they don't have aborio rice that one Rachel Ray recipe called for, and I was surprised they didn't have it. My wife got it at Fred Meyer instead.
My wife prefers some of the meat at Safeway, because it's cut more neatly, less waste, etc., at least as far as stew meat is concerned. Aside from that, there are no particular quality issues. Yeah, you might find better produce section at QFC, but most of Winco's produce is just fine.
I didn't find the bagging groceries to be a big deal, but then my wife and I go shopping together as a tag team.
Great values on soft drinks; my 14 year old son loves Jones Soda green apple flavor, and Winco has 12-pack cans for a great deal, right around $3. I get the energy drinks my daughter likes for about a buck instead of two.
Bottom line is that Winco's normal prices are the "special" or "coupon" prices at other stores, and you don't have to fiddle around or hassle with the sold-out specials.

I WANT to give Winco five stars, but the abysmal customer service, and the fact that you have to bag your own groceries, makes it tough to recommend them for anything other than small purchases.

Yeah, they've got the largest selection and the best prices. Yeah, they don't charge a bogus "membership" fee.

But they're certainly not handicapped accessible or senior citizen friendly, and don't even THINK about getting through the checkout stand without a team -- one person unloads the cart, two people bag and cart groceries, and one person pays and deals with coupons. It's a madhouse, and you get nasty glares if you try to manage the whole checkout process on your own.

This is a strong "blue collar" store. No fancy floral arrangements or trendy deli shop. This is a bare bones great grocery value store. Awsome produce selections and very helpful staff.

PROS: Great prices, super service.
CONS: Have to bag you own groceries.,would suggest shopping with a friend.

Winco is a great place to find good deals. You can buy items in bulk and they sometimes have things that the other grocery stores don't have. This store is very busy any time you go but the checkers are usually very efficient so you don't have to wait in line long.

Good value for your dollar here. The prices are lower than many other places, and the variety is good. They have regular sizes, and well as some very large sizes, too. They have bulk foods, for those who prefer to shop that way. Their produce department is large, and looks very appealing. The employees were very helpful is helping me to find things, and helping to list heavy items. There always seem to be many people there, at all hours of the day and night. The prices in their meat department are low, and the variety is outstanding. It is a good store to have nearby!

PROS: Good variety, good prices, excellent parking
CONS: You have to bag your own groceries--ugh

Winco is a large store, with a big variety of items, from the usual grocery items, to large size things, to bulk items. It is a busy place any time of day of night, which is quite amazing. A great place to shop!

Winco foods is a cheap grocery store but my favorite thing is the bulk bins. They have almost anything in there( that can be a bulk). They have name brand candy, cereal, hunks of choclate, baking mixes, yeast all at great prices. Also everything is fresh and replaced daily.

Winco Foods is a good place to buy groceries. They have good quality merchandise. It is a very large store so there is quite a selection to choose from.

Their prices are very competitive, with most of their items being the least expensive. It is the second least expensive grocery store near me (Saars Marketplace being the very cheapest).

The only setback I wish was remedied was that you must bag your own groceries. It isn't bad when you only have a few items to pick up, but it's terribly tough when you are doing your monthly, or larger shopping. I believe the lack of baggers is one of the things they attribute their lower prices to, so you need to decide which is most important to you.

Overall I recommend Winco for your grocery needs, but maybe it's not a bad idea to bring some bagging help with you!

PROS: great prices
CONS: you must bag your own groceries

I've been to Winco a few times and did find that they have a lot of lower prices than the other grocery stores in the area, but they also jack prices on some things. So be watchful of things you buy on a regular basis. The bulk area is really nice as is the meat and produce deptartments. The checkers are not that friendly and are rather rude to me since I am an avvid coupon-user. Winco Foods is NOT a good place for coupons. If the cashiers scan in too many, the register will lock up on them and they have to have a manager override it. Meanwhile, the line backs up and people get irritated with the coupon-user. No thanks. I'll take my money and coupons somewhere else that is hassle-free.

PROS: Cheap
CONS: Not a great place to use coupons

I didnt know this place was even here till a friend told me about it, so one night at like 830 on a sunday me and husband went. Well we ended up spending more than 120 dollars on pure impulse buys. Good for them, bad for us. They had a lot of cool stuff, but alot of it I could have got in bulk at Sams club. Alot of their aisle looked like they had been ransacked and bombed. I wouldnt do my regular grocery shopping there, but if I was to have a b-day party, I would definttly go to get all the supplies there.

PROS: Cheap Prices
CONS: wasnt the best kept

I love going here because of its awseome deals. I spend about half of what I would at a regular grocery store. They have a great selection..everything you can think of. The only bad thing is that it is always crowded, seemingly no matter what time it is that you go. But I think its still worth it for the great prices.

This store is always really packed but is absolutly horrible in the beginning and end of the month. They have really good prices especally in the bulk food sections, but the place is really dirty.
Alot of the people who shop there are really rude and there is always a huge line when you go pay up front.

This store is always very crowded. Although they do have the best non-sale prices. I find that I can find better deals at other larger chain grocery stores. But the everyday price on items is lower at Winco. They have a big parking lot, but it's always so crowded it can be difficult to get a parking spot, and even more difficult to get a decent parking spot. This store id definantly huge though and the selection is large.

PROS: Selection
CONS: crowded
