Reviews for Gamestop

Ratings_icons Your average Gamestop

Dave D.

Adam T. doesn't have a slight clue about this Gamestop. The store's prices are the same as every other Gamestops and EBGames, because it's a corporately owned business.

They cleared out the old consoles, because they didn't sell and they are a business, not a hockshop. If you want to buy old Atari games, goto a pawnshop or a swap-meet. Gamestop isn't either of those.

Aside from the superfluous rhetoric that this moron was spouting off as if he wasn't a complete tool. The store seems alright, the games are never organized, but I have noticed that there is a lot of foot traffic from the obnoxious elementary/junior high kids from the neighboring schools that have a tendency to wreck the store during peak business hours when the employees aren't able to reorganize them. With a large stock that this Gamestop has, it seems like it would be near impossible to reorganize.

I will agree, the store manager that works here is a nice guy, but as are some of the other employees. Although I have noticed there is a woman manager that works there that is extremely rude most of the time, when she's not flirting with the male customers.

This store has a lot more to offer than the other Gamestops that are a fraction of the size. A lot more games means a higher chance of finding a game that you want in stock.

Ratings_icons Bad managment, poor customer service and overpriced games.

Adam T. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,343

This place has to be the worst game store in the area. They seam to be rude at times, espeacialy when you call them to ask a question. There was one old man working there who was the best employee I have ever seen there, he treated me like a person should be treated, with respect. The store has a lot of overpriced games, a lot of junk and they cleared out there old console games.

They also seam to have lazy employees.

EBGames is in the same area, I recommend you walk down the mall a little ways and shop there instead.

PROS: Sometimes you might be able to find a decent deal.
CONS: Poor customer service.

Ratings_icons Great Place For New And Used Games

Located conveinently on Meridian in Puyallup, this is a great shop for all your gaming needs including both new and used games at a very good price. The shop not only has many sales but a frequent buyer program to save even more money. Be sure to ask about what they have behind the counter as well, sometimes you can find a rare and hard to find gem.

PROS: Helpful and friendly staff
CONS: Sometimes limited selection but rarely a problem
