Bark Natural Pet Care

I always stop at the Bark Natural Pet Care store when I'm doing some Ballard Avenue shopping to look for sales and toys for my dog. They carry an eclectic selection of dog items, from stylish collars/leads to fresh baked natural treats to Kwigy-bo (kind of like the Marc Jacobs of dog fashion) sweaters. Once in awhile they'll have a sale going on and it's during those times I was able to pick up some very nice sweaters for my dog at a much lower price than retail. The staff is always smiling and friendly with dog treat in hand to welcome their customers. The prices are not bad and they also have some squeaky toys that you don't always find in other pet stores which is nice because it can get boring buying the same old squeaky shoe/bone/hot dog for your pet.

If they don't have it you shouldn't be giving it to your pup anyway. They have every toy made to keep your dog occupied and they give great advice. The only negative is that it is incredibly expensive. Keep a price talley in your head when you are there or you are in for a BIG suprise.

This place is the size of a box of peanuts, yet both staff members on duty managed to completely ignore my friend and I, not even offering us a polite hello. They have cute stuff, but who needs the attitude?

CONS: hard to find parking, rudeness

I went in this place looking for a natural way to prevent fleas from biting my dogs butt all summer... I was one of two customers in the store and was still ignored for ten minutes... not even the obligatory "I'll be right with you..."
