I wanted to respond to the review by kijisdh. My husband wrote that review. Everyone on our trivia team would vouch for us - WE NEVER PULLED A SODA OUT OF OUR BACKPACK. We were accused by the waiter of something we never did. That was the worst part of it. So get your facts straight you a**hole making judgements.

I'm a regular at trivia night at the Northside Grill. It's always really well run and the food is great. I was shocked to read the last review. Surprisingly I did see the interaction between the staff and these customers and all I can say is shame on you for writing that review. All the staff was asking for is that customers don't ask for a glass of ice then pull a soda out of their backpack like this couple had done. These guys must be so cheap. Life is short dude, live it up. I recommend this trivia spot and always have a good time.

We originally attended this restaurant for the trivia quiz master after our other local haunt closed down. The food was never quite palatable - either too dry, over / under done. Still, we were happy to frequent a local business to just have a drink or desert. Contrary to the other reviews out there, the food is not worthy of the 5 star reviews planted on *every* site.

The surprise $10 minimum PER PERSON for trivia Tuesday nights just isn't worth it for mediocre food, a pissy owner, and 80 degree wine.

My husband and I tried this place on a Sunday afternoon after reading the citysearch reviews--wanted some place causual close to home. We loved it and would have driven across town if necessary! Very reasonably priced wine list--not extensive but more than adequate. Good selection of beers. We ordered a bottle of wine and tried three appetizers--Baywak (sp), Kaafouk, and Garlic Shrimp. All were delicious! My husband enjoyed the shrimp so much that he ordered another plate. We are looking forward to going back this week and trying an entree. Service was professional. I think we have found a new hang out...

Pros: great food at reasonable prices

Cons: not a one

My husband and I have been here twice. Both times the food and service were great! We especially like the Morrocan Fish and Chips as well as the Kefta sandwich. There are alot of restaurants on Greenwood, but this one really stands out.

My wife and I live in Greenwood, and the Northside Grill is our favorite local hangout. There are a few items on the menu that never fail to please. For starters - the owner, Imad, makes the best French Dip on the planet. The beef is tender, the rolls are toasted just right, and the 'jus' it comes with is seasoned to perfection - but you won't need it, cause the sandwich is juicy and delicious on its own. You can, however, use the jus to soak the french fries - which taste just like fries ought to taste. I also highly recommend the lamb Kefta Plate, the Merguez sandwich, or the Fish & Chips. They've got a couple of great beers on tap, and some great wines and deserts. My wife and her friends like to hang out in the sofa area in the back and share a big p0t of mint tea. The place has free wi-fi, some truly gorgeous art on the walls, and they regularly have great live music.

Did I mention the Garlic Prawns appetizer? Freaking _sweet_! Greenwood has some great little restaurants, but this is the one we keep coming back to. You really have to check it out - these guys really know what they're doing.

Pros: All around great bar & grill

Cons: Closed on Mondays

Friendly atmosphere, good place for large groups, average prices for great food. The Moroccan food is delicious, and a nice change from the typical tastes; the other dishes are good too. There's something for everyone!

The Northside Grill offers great food and a great atmosphere. Customers will feel welcomed by the friendly staff and will be impressed by the beautiful Moroccan decor. If you are into trivia, the Trivia nights on Tuesdays are really fun as well. There's great beer on tap, too. We are so happy to have discovered this fantastic restaurant.

My family and I have been coming to the Northside Grill regularly since they opened 1 year ago. Awesome food and friendly service. It has become our version of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. Really good beer and wine selection. Excellent food (my favorite is the spicy Moroccan sandwich) that's different from the rest. Comfortable atmosphere featuring local artists' work. The owner has an abundance of catering experience and can accomodate groups quite well. We have had and have gone to birthday celebrations at the Northside Grill that have been both fun and filling. It's always fun to test your skills at Trivia Night on Tuesdays, where there are lot's of prizes to compete for. We love supporting local businesses. The excellence of this place makes it easy to come again and again.

You can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. The Kefta burger and Zalouk are my personal favorites. Delicious home-made hummas. Fresh bread. Quality meat. Fresh veggies and salads. Be sure to try the crepes or the brownie a la mode for dessert! Everything is familiar yet so different and delicious. Uniquely flavored and so tasteful! Great music. Beautiful artwork. Comfortable atmosphere. Personal service.

Every time I go to Buster's the proprietors treat me like family. The food is so delicious - grilled sandwiches with savory meat paired with special sauces I could never approximate, delicate pea salad with bacon and herbs, and microbrews or those full-bodied Napa Valley reds.

I hear the chef was trained at the Cuilinary Institute of America. Greenwood is certainly turning a corner!

Best lunch I've had all year!

PROS: the food, the wine, the beer, the company...
