Took my little Yorkie there 3 years ago for his first nail clipping, the woman cut 4 nails too short, they were bleeding and he screamed his head off. Why would I go again...? Well, major lapse in judgment. Friend recommended them recently for grooming and driving by today, 8-21-2010 I really thought this would not happen again.
The same woman was there and I asked her to be careful so she would not cut too short as I got him finally to a point where nail clipping is no longer a struggle. The first front paw was ok, she was doing it so quick I was wondering how she knows without checking how far she can cut. Unfortunately while doing his second paw she literally cut half of the third nail off, blood spurted out, he cried, she went quickly for the powder to stop the bleeding. Needless to say I did not let her finish and stormed out of there saying "never again". She did not even say that she is sorry... I will never go back again. Cutting too close to the quick can happen to anybody, it happened to me too when I used to trim my lab's nails. But whacking off half of a little dog's nail is just plain careless.
I really believe the reason they are still in business is that the pets can't talk and if you are not there you never know what goes on.

I brought my cat in thinking that they would never be able to groom her because she does not like to be bathed or touched that much. They told me that there is that 1 in 200 that cannot be groomed and I thought for sure that was my little one. I brought her in and within a few hours I got a call that she was done! She looked adorable and did not seemed traumatized at all. I am taking my other kitty there as soon as I can get an appt!

I have taken first one dog and now another to LOOKING GOOD grooming for over 20 years. Both dogs love(d) going, would actually get excited when told they were going for a bath and instead of having to be dragged through the door, would push the door open themselves. My late dog got a bath every week, and my current one, every 2 weeks. There are probably 100 grooming establishments closer, and with the gas prices that is a consideration BUT I love my dog enough to go where I know he is well treated, well groomed and well loved.

We have been taking our cat to Looking Good for many years now and are very pleased with the service we get. Sue consistently does a great job and she treats our cat very well (Cricket has decided she doesn't mind being groomed after all). We definitely recommend Sue and Looking Good Grooming!

This is a great dog groomers. I take my poodle in here for her grooming and she always comes back looking poised and pretty. Her nails are always cut perfect, her hair clean and nice and she even smells good! They have a nice big grooming area and they are really good at getting the dog comfortable with them and approaching them with a patient manner. I love this grooming salon for my dog and don't think i'd ever take her anywhere else. The prices are nice, and so is the parking. The staff is friendly as well.

The staff at Looking Good Grooming are amazing. My small dog refuses to let me clip his nails. Yet somehow, the staff here are able to put him in a trance, take control and get the job done. All for $5! Not to mention he gets an adorable scarf to wear afterwards and a doggy treat! If you love your pet and want them to recieve loving care and good grooming, you have to take them to Looking Good Grooming!

PROS: Affordable
Friendly
Professional Job
