I have been going to this clinic for almost ten years now and I love them. It is really nice to have the option of making an appointment or just going the walk-in clinic.

The consultant nurse at this office is terrible. She snapped at my sister and my diabetic mom. She makes assumptions about people that aren't true. My mom, who resides in Florida, recently saw a specialist for an operation in a different country. She is visiting Washington only for a few weeks as she helps my sister with her baby. Unfortunately, the medication given to my mother after her operation makes her forgetful. She easily loses track of logistical details.

At this clinic, the consultant nurse berated my mother as if she were a child for not remembering the name of her diabetic medication. We called my mom's doctor in Florida and solved the problem so we could refill her diabetic medication, but the nurse had no right to say "bull shit" under her breath, or to say that my mother's need was "not that important." My mother and sister left the clinic immediately and found help elsewhere.

The nurse has no idea my mother has been through an arduous operation recently, nor does she realize that my mother and family are doing the best they possibly can. When your mother tells you she has enough diabetic medication before going to Washington, you believe her, but we realize now, she got mixed up, and brought the wrong package. There is no need for an unprofessional nurse to label my mother as "irresponsible" and no need to rub it in our faces that she needs help. We immediately took action as soon as we realized the mistake. She just realized yesterday she was out of diabetic pills, and today we did everything possible to replenish them, but nurses like this only make things worse. It's depressing to know people like this work in the medical profession.

We recently moved to the area and a friend recommended this clinic. We have visited the doctors on several occasions and each time are helped promptly at the reception desk. The wait time is not excessive. The medical assistants are very helpful and nice. The doctors in this clinic are outstanding. We hope to be with them for some time to come.
